I think I found a very decent Butter Chicken ($11) in Singapore. This version of butter chicken has quite abit of tomato paste. Some love it, some hates it. It depends on individual. I don’t mind that. The overall taste is really nice. Well seasoned. Garlic Naan is nice, but for a $5 naan, I thought the naan should be a little thicker or bigger in size. But again, not complaining. Ginger Chai (Teh Halia $3) is really nice and satisfying. Ginger taste is strong and not too sweet. And that double egg Prata with curry is delicious too! This is totally worth the calories! I’m returning to try the rest of the item on their menu soon. Service is great. Very attentive. Roadside Parking is limited by the way.
View on GoogleThis was our go to local restaurant during our stay in Singapore. Great prata and good trying to find the best dish to go with the prata. Two top contenders were the mutton curry and the chicken tikka, but we enjoyed everything we tried except the fish dish - perhaps it was a fish tikka? But overall, really great service, great food child beer and modest prices. Perfect! They have nice outdoor balcony tables for when we went with our dog.
View on GoogleButter chicken, cheese and garlic naans are all very nice. The egg and onion prata are quite disappointing though. Total damage coming close to $40 (for 2) after tax and service charge which is a bit on the high side. Overall not bad, but i will probably just stick to the butter chicken and naans, and avoid the pratas next time.
View on GoogleA little on the pricier side but I acknowledge this is a restaurant not a hawker stall. Staff are always super courteous and eager to help. Food is impeccable, easily one of the best prata places in Singapore. They hold their ground well against time tested giants like Casurine Curry, Springleaf and the Roti Prata house, all which I've eaten from for the three decades I've lived here. Give them a try, I hope this place stays for years to come
View on GoogleBEST in SG! Been going around trying many pratas around SG. This is by far the best! It's soft and fluffy! On par with the original "roti canai" from Malaysia. Chef is apparently from there as well! No wonder! Excellent service and very good Roti kosong! (plain Prata) Their fish and chicken curry were excellent as well. Rich and thick and not too salty. Was pleasantly surprised with their Sarang Burung Prata! Very different feel from the typical egg Prata and more to my personal taste....
