As part of my Ang Mo Kio food hunt in the morning breakfast, I made my way to Mayflower Market & Food Centre. To my surprise, this food centre offered incredibly good varieties of nice dishes. We ordered the Fresh Prawn Cheong Fun here, this one was smooth and silken which were likely to be able to find dim sum restaurants nearby. It was absolutely slurpy and delicious indeed! The chilli was provided a good kick of spiciness mixed with it. The atmosphere here was unpretentious and relaxed in the area. One of the highlights of our visit was the Wanton Mee from Jin Song Stall, which operates from 6am to 2pm and closes on Mondays. Priced affordably at $4, the dry wanton mee impressed with its springy noodles that were well-coated in chilli sauce, giving each bite a savoury kick. Mayflower Food Centre remains a charming neighbourhood where simple delicious dishes, friendly stalls, cleanliness, and morning rituals come together. Highly recommended to try out the traditional Singapore dishes with affordable prices!💞

Visited Yun Ji Sheng Mian (雲記生面 手工面粉粿) at Mayflower Market & Food Centre, Ang Mo Kio Ave 4, and I really enjoyed my meal! The handmade Mee Hoon Kway was delicious, with a rich and comforting soup. The homemade meatballs were super yummy, and I added extra meat, which made it even more satisfying. Every bite was fresh and full of flavour. What made the experience even better was the super friendly owner, who provided warm and welcoming service. If you're looking for a comforting bowl of handmade noodles with tasty meatballs, I highly recommend giving this stall a try. I will definitely be back again! ❤️🍜

Reach around 11am and it was quite packed with people. Saw this Vietnamese stall and got a few of their dish. Had the 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 $𝟯.𝟱𝟬 - This was so plain, no taste or anything that I had to add in the fish sauce and chili padi. Their 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗵 𝗺𝗶 $𝟲.𝟱𝟬 looks good but also not very shiok, the sauce on the bread and chicken seasoning could be better. The lady asked if I wanted chili, wah the chili padi that they smash and spread onto the bread makes me cry la, so spicy sia! The best items I had so far were the 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹 - 𝟮 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 $𝟮.𝟴𝟬 I read from their review that their laska is good, should have ordered that to try. The other meal we had was the 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲 $𝟯.𝟱𝟬 + 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 $𝟮 but oh man it is lacking taste, even the fried fish is so soggy..... ✨Quan Xing Mei Shi & Vietnamese Food 永興美食 #01-26 ✨Singapore Lor Mee

Many stalls to choose from so many options for food and I could taste the many years of mastering cooking on my tongue once I ate the food. It was amazing how they made the skin on the fish crispy while the fish itself was not overcooked. It is best to eat fresh there and I recommend trying the chicken rice or the carrot cake there but everything is nice.
