Best fishballs I’ve had. Think of all the most famous fishball noodles place in Singapore. Yet this is better, for fishballs. The fish ball was incredibly soft, yielding with almost no resistance, yet it still had just enough spring to remind you it was freshly made. More importantly, you could actually taste the sweetness of the fish rather than starch. The noodles isn’t the type that most Singaporeans would like, due to the lack of savoury and vinegary flavours. But, it’s full of aroma from pork lard. And although I also prefer stronger flavours, this works for the fishballs because they are all very light and clean in taste The tau pok would put most yong tau foo stalls to shame. So soft too. Surely, add on to my list of regular weekend food from now. Best fishballs I’ve had. I only wish they have her kiao too.
View on GoogleBe prepared to queue for 30 minutes to an hour, but this bowl of fishball noodles makes every minute worthwhile. This store delivers an unmistakably delicious taste of Malaysian hometown flavor. The tossed noodles, coated in a fragrant blend of scallion oil and crispy lard crumbles, are irresistibly rich and savory, while the handmade fishballs and fish cakes burst with fresh, pure seafood sweetness. Yes, the wait tests your patience, but the first bite offers instant, heartfelt compensation. This isn't just a meal, it's a culinary pilgrimage.
View on GoogleThis place doesn’t need my review already. Just sending my appreciation here and adding another 5 star review here for very well cooked Al dente mee kia with very fragrant fried shallots and black sauce Msian style. Fishballs are fresh and slightly fishy but still very tasty. Tau pok was sold out when I came quite near to closing time. Thank you for the great food and I can see what the fuss is about.
View on GoogleGood stuff and friendly. This is more like yong tou fu fusion with bak chor mee. Especially like the handmade noodles is what Sarawak noodles is like, i like, not alkaliny. Tasty chill flakes and pork lards. What deter me to come back would be the 1hr long queue.
View on GoogleThe best noodle so far that I can find. Expect long queue. Fresh fish ball & ingredients made by hand, noodle cooked just right, combine with nice spicy chilli. Eat your noodles with wooden chopsticks and porcelain spoon. $5 for a regular bowl.
