**OLD SCHOOL TASTE** Spinach in soup with eggs: very nice. Very flavourful Sweet and Sour Sliced Fish: Normal. **Cabbage wrap with assorted stir fried egg with crab : add some soya sauce and its that old school yummy taste. Got crab shell bits. Each carefully. But still great Hei zok: fried Prawn meat roll. Dip in their sweet sauce. Yummers. Its got 1700 reviews and rating over 4. Downside. No air con. Went on normal weekday night. Food is good. Will be back for other dishes.

Hor fun 🫲 Vegetable soup 🫲 Fried rice 🫲 No wok hei. Fuyong egg 👎 Very oily. Sweet & sour pork 👎 Hardly any pork. Just lots of crispy batter. Ginger pork 👎 Too much tenderiser. Pork has such an artificial texture.

Went to Kian Seng today for birthday dinner celebration! Even though the restaurant was packed when we arrived, the service never skipped a beat. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the dishes started arriving. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully they paced the food service. Instead of bringing everything out at once and crowding the table, each dish arrived at just the right time, allowing us to enjoy every course without feeling rushed or running out of table space. We ordered two different styles of crab, and our favourite was definitely the Salted Egg Crab! The crab was incredibly fresh, with sweet, chunky meat. The chef had cracked the shells so perfectly that we could effortlessly lift out big, juicy pieces of crab meat and enjoy them in one satisfying bite. No wrestling with the shells at all! We were also blown away by the Cantonese-style steamed Soon Hock. It was unbelievably fresh, tender, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was delicate and naturally sweet. Since it was a birthday celebration, we couldn't resist ordering their suckling pig. Mamma mia! The skin was beautifully crispy while the balance of crispy skin, tender meat and just the right amount of fat was absolutely spot on. Every single dish was on point. It was such a satisfying meal that I've already made another reservation to bring my in-laws back. Can't wait!

My family celebrated Day 5 of CNY at Kian Seng Seafood Restaurant (建成海鲜館) with 4 tables, and everyone loved the food.  This place is a true Teochew 'Zi Char' 老字号 (old brand) that has perfected traditional flavors at great value. The Charcoal Roasted Suckling Pig was nice. The skin was incredibly crispy, while the meat remained juicy and succulent. Another 2 standout dishes were the Teochew Style Steamed Pomfret and the Shark Fin Soup. If you’re looking for an authentic and delicious family feast, I would recommend Kian Seng Seafood Restaurant!

If you are craving for super chili crabs 🦀 this is the right place to go in Singapore! Their crabs are amazing and fresh! Food are amazing. I tried the new year mix noodle too and it was so much fun. Waiting time is good and price is value for money. The place are famous among local and they have toilet as well.
