Sept 25,26- decided to travel here to try their red snapper $12.50 with rice. Conclusion very good except the soup not hot enough for my standard. Highly recommended. 10/12/25, try again the 12.50 with rice. Very good but again the soup not hot enough. When soup is not hot you worry is the fish well cook. Recommended.
View on GoogleWent for the #13 (batang fish slices with minced pork), $8.50. Damn shiok. Fish slices easily double portion of whats from the usual foodcourt stalls. Minced pork also generous, 4-5 big lumps of those well marinated pork. Recommended, def will come again if in the area.
View on GoogleBest fish soup I’ve had in a while Stumbled upon this stall during a random weekday lunch. There was already a line of 9–10 people, so I waited about 15–20 minutes – worth every second. You’ll notice most tables eating from this stall because of the distinctive red bowls. I ordered the large ($14) red grouper with extra bittergourd. OMG – the broth is packed with natural sweetness, super clean and comforting. The fish slices were extremely thick, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Didn’t take a picture this time, but I’m heading back today with my wife and son to enjoy this gem again. Don’t overthink the service – just order, pay, and savor the bowl. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleSeafood lovers will be spoilt for choice with the different combinations for their fish soup, but the star here is their Red Grouper Sliced Fish Soup 👍🏻 Each thickly cut ̶s̶l̶i̶c̶e̶ chunk of red grouper meat was fresh and had a smooth and firm bite that complemented the pleasant chew from the QQ gelatinous skin. They taste even better with the savoury fermented soybean paste and extra heat from the chilli padi! The clear broth is not too heavy on flavour compared to other places, but it's well-balanced without making you feel thirsty after the meal. I guess that's why everyone is willing to brave the long queue for it~ A pity my favourite fried fish roe was sold out, but the prawns were decently sweet and juicy! 🐟🦐 If you prefer a more wallet-friendly option, go for their Batang Fish Soup or Double Taste Fish Soup. . 📍 Address: 453A Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, #01-10, Singapore 561453. View on GoogleCome across this fish soup and really value for money. They ran out of red grouper so decided to try the mixed fish soup with bee hoon. The fish is fresh and soft. The soup is savory and rich. There's at least 4 pieces of fried fish and 4 pieces of sliced fish in the soup with veggies for the big portion which cost $7.50. This hawker center has many nice food.
