This stall specialises in Lor Mee and laksa. They are located at Chong Boon Food Center. The stall is run by an elderly couple. The aunty takes customers orders and serves customers, while the uncle cooks each bowl of noodles to order. Most customers were ordering laksa, which I also did. The small bowl costs $4.50, while the larger bowl costs $6. The thick vermicelli noodles were smooth and al dente. The laksa gravy has a rich taste of coconut and smooth in texture. Dried prawns in the gravy were rather chunky and could be chopped up into smaller pieces. Good value for old school taste at $4.50 for a bowl of laksa. For payments, they accept cash only.

✅ Delicious laksa, the old school way. Worth every calorie! 🤤 $4.50 comes with some fish cake, egg slices, tau pok and 2 prawns (in replacement for cockles). Lor Mee seems popular too. Very long Q on weekends, do give them some patience as stall is managed by an elderly couple 💕 Hawker Centre, but considered airy

Waited 40min for loh mee. Ordered $4.50 Lor Mee. Amount and variety of ingredients are reasonable. Taste very homely. But not vingery enough for me. I had to add a soup spoon full of it. Garlic also not enough but no way to add. Reasonably spicy but the al dente of the noodle is the best part. The bite is tremandous.

It’s definitely one of the best laksa with flavorful lemak curry broth. Noodle portion is just nice for a meal and it’s topped with egg slices, tau pok and cockles. Will return to try the lor mee soon Got to prepare to queue, but it’s worth the wait
