This market and food centre is busy in the morning with lots of residents doing their marketing and having breakfast here. This stall draws a constant queue of customers. They have regulars who have been dining here for many years. They are a well run operation, where the lady and a young man in front takes orders, a young man prepares each other and another man tops up fishballs and other ingredients inside. They end their operations before 12 noon, when their ingredients run out. Portions start from $5 (small) and go up to $6 (medium) and $7 (large), with the more expensive version giving you more noodles and fishballs. I ordered the $5 portion. It came with quite a bit of noodles, three fishballs (fish), a special fishball and a fish paste filled tau pok, similar to yong tau foo. The fishballs were soft. In my bowl, there was one fishball in the bowl with better (firmer) texture and savoury flavour, probably made with a different fish meat. The noodles clump together and were a little over cooked (not Al dente). The meal was ok. Try it when you are here.

The fishball noodles were simple but really enjoyable. The noodles had a nice texture and were tossed well in a flavorful sauce that was light yet tasty. The fishballs were fresh, bouncy, and packed with flavor, making each bite satisfying. The staff was friendly. If they can provide PORK LARD. This will the best ever.

Very very long queue despite us arriving at 8am. Reviews were very good however I beg to differ. Portion wise was a lot definitely! Ingredients and taste wise was an ok for me because I’m a BCM lover. I traveled all the way to try this stall but wasn’t satisfied TBH.

❤️ Food sharing IG @ jkgourmets 😋 美食分享尽在 IG @ jkgourmets Honestly, you probably won't not get attracted by the first looks of the Fishball Noodle you received after ordered. Before the noodle being mixing with the base sauce and taste. The noodle seem very unattractive and bland. Unless you are foreigner or tourists, otherwise you definitely will mixing the noodle with sauces before your first mouth. Yes. Surprised. After mixing it, that bowl of noodle come alive. The shine and the colour of the sauces coated on the noodle and fishball, and now it turn into a food art masterpiece. Perhaps, some might feel it was too heavy in taste, in fact, I do agree that, but such punchy bold flavours does bring back the old traditional taste. Fishballs was fresh, sweet and tender. Four pieces of Fishball with one small tou-po coated with fish paste. Priced at $5/bowl. Not cheap but still reasonable due to it great flavours. Overall, this was a great taste with big flavours. I'm definitely recommending all to try it.
