Aroy mak mak! Highly recommend the papaya salad, pad Thai and stir fry squid with basil. A lot of people around ordered the green curry.
View on GoogleWas ordering my mother in law’s birthday cake next door at The Pine Garden and husband & I decided to have our lunch here. We ordered clear Tom Yam chicken soup and stir fried Kailan with pork belly, lemongrass water and Thai red milk tea for our drinks. Food was nice, staffs were friendly and they played Thai songs and some English songs in the restaurant, which made the dining atmosphere more pleasant. Forgot to mention, I specifically love their chilli sauces they provided on each table! Thank you!
View on GoogleCosy eatery with nice Thai dishes. Every dish we ordered is appetising and suit to our taste bud. Overall eating experience is good.
View on GoogleCame for lunch and it turned out better than expected. The food was suitable for our group of diverse ages. Ordered a variety of items and all turned out well. The steam fish was truly value and good sized. Green curry was creamy. Shrimp 'tang hoon' pot was well done and our senior enjoyed it. Even the plain white rice tasted nice. Tried both the red & green Thai milk tea and tasted good. The tapioca dessert was also well received. Had great service from the friendly and attentive operator. Kudos to this shop for the great experience.
View on GoogleThe standard has definitely dropped ! This is by far the worst of my visits. The Tomyam clear soup presentation looks like a leftover, not spicy but sour and salty. The pineapple fried rice taste nothing like thai style fried rice. The thai style kang kong is too soggy. The glass noodle salad is spicy but bland and the grilled chicken is overcooked. In fact, none of the dishes i ordered tasted like thai food. It's just like having zhi char stall food but worse taste. I'm totally disappointed. Definitely not returning anymore!! 27 Oct: Hi Nagara Thai team, I'm glad that you took the time to carefully read and respond to my review. Tom Yum Clear Soup Yes, you also noticed that the soup looked like it had already been consumed. I can assure you that we did not touch it before taking the photo. It was actually the first dish served to us, and we were shocked and very disappointed by how "clear" it looked. One of my family members even asked me to take a photo because we felt it was necessary to give feedback. As for the taste, we understand that preferences may vary, but this was our honest impression. (We arrived at the restaurant around 6:45 PM and were seated at Table No. 7. you could check the CCTV footage to verify the condition of the Tom Yum Clear Soup when it was served. As mentioned earlier, we hadn’t touched it before taking the photo.) Pineapple Fried Rice This dish was very different from what we had before. It lacked the crunchy cashews and peanuts that we used to enjoy. Also, I was quite surprised to find Chinese sausage in the dish—this was unexpected in a Thai-style pineapple fried rice. Kang Kong and Yum Woonsen These were the only dishes that were still acceptable. However, were overcooked and soggy, which affected the overall enjoyment. Grilled Chicken Although this dish is listed under appetizers, it was served last. The taste was acceptable, but the meat was overcooked and had a dry, rough texture. As for our previous visits, I believe the last one was over a year ago, back when your restaurant used blue-patterned dinner plates. We've dined there more than five times in the past. Has there been a change in ownership or the kitchen team? Previously, we noticed that the staff outside were all Thai. Also, just a suggestion — you might consider engaging mystery diners to try the food and service anonymously. It could help provide unbiased feedback and maintain consistency. We’ve always appreciated the food and experience in the past, which is why this visit stood out so much. I hope this feedback is helpful for your team. Thank you again for taking the time to respond. I hope this additional feedback is helpful.
