Staff by the name of Angel, which is an ironic name given her temperament, was so frustrated and sullen with making Grab orders alone at the AMK outlet at 3:26pm that she (1) ignored me for at least a minute or two despite standing at shoulder length away from her, and while there is absolutely no one at the outlet during my visit (2) scowled at me after she realised I was not leaving and needed assistance (3) gave a perfunctory and insincere apology of her behaviour, apparent from her still scowling and being very impatient with her tone while doing so, when I pointed out to her that she could have just acknowledged my presence and politely informed me to give her some time to complete the delivery orders she was making. There is no need for her to take her frustration out me when I have barely even said anything. Even as I left without ordering, she has this smug, unapologetic countenance like she does not even gaf about the feedback that I have just provided her. Someone like her should NOT be working in the service industry or at least in front of house operations. There is no self-order kiosk here, so unfortunately, patrons have no choice but to face the annoyance and wrath of that irritable lady. When I saw someone else working at the outlet who went by the name of Kelly (she stood up from the far end of the outlet space, probably after finishing her break), she was only marginally less irritable and sullen than Angel when I shared my concerns about her colleague's rude demeanour and gross lack of courtesy, telling me that it is pointless to voice my complaints to her as she shares the same job position as Angel. Both of them do not seem to enjoy their work or like the sight of customers at all, not even for the slightest bit. As I walked away, I saw Angel complaining to Kelly about me as if I were the one being mean and hostile to her in the first place. The cheek of her to cry foul! If they have issues with managing delivery orders, take their frustration to their store leader, or just QUIT. Sadly, Chicha endorses and probably even empowers employee behaviours like the above, so they get bolder, brusque and more brazen in their attitude towards customers. Truly some of the nastiest service that I have encountered in years What is going with Chicha's service standards lately? Been to several outlets and most of the staff are irritable except the one at Vivo. Liho, playmade, Chagee, iTea, and Koi all have better trained and generally more pleasant staff. At least their staff acknowledge your presence and/or when you approach the counter, especially when you stand for a long time in front of them lol. This is ridiculous. Seriously contemplating not supporting them anymore, regardless of how superlative their teas are.

Chicha is my go-to bubble tea whenever i wanted to drink one. Sunday I was at AMK Hub so I decided to order 1 each for me and my wife. I made my choices quickly and tendered a $50 note to pay. The respond from your staff, with "Kelly" on her nametag was blunt and cold. "We don't accept 50-dollar notes". ok fine, I asked to pay by Nets, she immediately gave another unhappy reply, "We don't accept Nets". In my heart I was boiling already and wanted to cancel my order there and then, but I swallowed the bad service and asked what options of payment do I have. She gave another cold comeback, "paywave and scan to pay". I proceeded to pay with paywave, and she gave my receipt in an unfriendly manner. I didn't give any trouble or difficulty to her so I'm perturbed by her poor attitude. I can only make a guess that perhaps Chicha didn't give her a pay raise or owe her salary. Coming from a Taiwanese company, you would expect their staff to be well trained to provide a more pleasant experience.

The new staff make the drinks not nice, no tea taste at all. Waited 15mins for ice water + cream. Please teach them how to make properly or change staff.

Very poor attitude. We wanted to have a good day, but this lady banged her hand on the board just because we asked about ice and sugar levels. The manager should seriously address this behavior. I understand the job can be tiring, but that’s no excuse to take it out on customers. If the manager chooses not to act, then I encourage others to share similar experiences to warn future customers.
