I had lunch here and ordered the chirashi don from the à la carte menu, but I was quite disappointed with the portion size. There were only a few slices of fish, and the lettuce portion barely had any fish at all. I paid abt $20 including of service charge for this meal. In comparison, the lunch set seems to offer much better value and a more satisfying portion. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. p/s: my feedback was made while I was dining. I came back onto my review to add on, giving it a bit of context. during payment I feedback to staff about my meal and was offered a 10% discount to me (I appreciate it) and he explained his reason for the pricing, however I was surprised to read the comment of my review from the shop. it was my genuine personal experience and feedback. it is about the value of food. I guess the whole point of it was missing. there was a picture of my meal. You can see it for yourself.

The food here is really good. Food is very comforting and warm. Customer service is also top notch. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for Japanese cuisine. Thumbs up.

Affordable and good quality japanese food! Have been coming here once every month and enjoyed the food at each visit! The sashimi is fresh and the udon is so good!! I recommend the mekajiki and hamachi sashimi. Actually I recommend to try all cause everything is good (i’m not paid to say this haha) The set meals and serving size are also well portioned. Service staff is very polite and attentive. A hidden gem indeed, may your business prosper!! Will definitely visit every month hehe

Great value for money. They have sets for less than 15 dollars. Portion of teriyaki salmon is generous and tasty. Aburi don tasted great too. The soft shell crab is crispy and delicious. Overall great meal for the price that is much more affordable than other Japanese chains. Beef sushi roll is yummy, and aburi salmon sushi is fresh and delicious Staff were helpful and welcoming. Tea had cute circular ice cubes. Quiet and easy to find seats on weekday dinner.

Came here on a Monday lunch period, half-filled with crowd. Was brought to the second storey, very beautiful furniture and interior. The sashimi here is very fresh. Melts in the mouth, sweet, great texture. I also love the chicken hotpot with rice. Budget but so different from other places. The soup is awesome, very well-brewed with authentic ingredients. Authentic taste, great ambience for dates. The boss was also very friendly and I like his sense of humour. The restaurant is situated in the business park, lunch timing will be crowded. Can park at ESR@Bizpark basement carpark and walk up to lvl 1.
