Tried various food from different stalls, the Thai stall was my favourite. The sweet and sour fried fish was good and value for money! Other dishes ordered were all not bad except for the China cabbage which tasted underwhelm and lacks wok hei. Place was quite spacious and windy, pity that a lot of stalls were closed on our visit on a Friday night. Would be better if there were more food varieties.
View on GoogleI went to Marketplace @ Expo last Sunday. I ordered udon from Omu Place. It was average, but the broth wasn’t salty — which I liked. I also ordered bee hoon and mee with luncheon meat and cabbage from Bai Li Xiang. The taste was average, but I would’ve preferred it warm. It was too cold for my liking. I ordered Nanyang Mocha from Kopifellas, it was thick, fragrant, and just how I like it.
View on GoogleVisited on Good Friday morning before the start of the pet expo. Only three stores were open before 10am. The alfresco seats were exposed to the sun and not particularly comfortable. I thought that was bad until I went into the building to place my orders. Inside, the fans were not switched on and the leftover smell of cooking from the previous day lingered. It was also stuffy and somehow warmer than being in the sun. Food prices are higher than usual, while portions are average and food tastes mediocre at best. Of course, things could change if some of the other stores are open. But judging from the menu and prices stated for unopened stores, it may just be similar. At least better than nothing I guess, as the next nearest eatery is quite a distance away at Changi City Point.
View on GoogleLive music at food court price. Chilling ambience. Very affordable place for a budget-friendly gathering. Food is average but cant expect more as this is just a foodcourt/hawker. However the live band makes it outstanding. They perform on wed, sat and sun evenings. Highly recommended! Bring paper and pen if you want to request for your favourite songs.
View on GoogleTasty crunchy popiah from Local delights, and tender juicy grilled chicken from Iskina Cebu. Clean place to sit for a quick meal. 👍 Deep regrets about the bland fried rice from King Kong fried rice, even the chilli was watered down, super disappointing. 👎
