I come to Changi City Point quite a bit and this is one of the best restaurant here in my opinion. This is a simple food establishment but don’t be fooled - they serve GOOD food. Today is the second time i am here, this time with my daughters and they are raving about what they orders esp. Chicken Burger. One word of caution, it can be shared by 2. Although some side dishes are pre-stated you can ask to swap it. My girl got the mac n cheese and she loves it just as well. Point to note, the kitchen seems to be a little overwhelmed when its busy and there may be a wait. So if you are super hungry.. you may want to rethink. You can see the service team tries very hard to get your food to you fastest, if you are patient enough it will be worth your wait.

Ordered buttermilk fried chicken and grilled dory fish. The crust was crispy and chicken was tender. A very good piece of fried chicken. Dory fish was average but decent. The free flow salad bar was really good. Best side went to the chips. The chips were crispy and thick. Next was the fragrant rice. Then the couscous was nice as well. Service was great, servers were detailed.

Came over for dinner and ordered their signature oxtail stew and signature aglio olio seafood pasta. Firstly the service is prompt and professional. Staff are friendly and attentive. However, maybe they are shorthanded, staff told us that we have to wait for 45min for food to be served. As, we don't mind the waiting time, we went in. Ambience is good and seatings are spacious. It's the homely and modern casual cafe style. Price point wise is slightly on the high side but still affordable to try. Portion sizes are good for adults and if you have a small appetite, they are good for sharing. The taste wise is kind of mixed feelings, firstly, the oxtail stew is excellent, very soft, juicy and flavorful. One of the best around for I love the texture of the meat. The pasta on the other hand is too salty and spicy for my liking. The flavorings are too extreme that it loses the balance of a good pasta. Those that gives a one sided taste and soon you are tired of the taste. Pasta texture is too hard and unlike al dente, it is not cooked long enough. This may be due to the choice of pasta used as it's the thin rounded type. So a failure for the pasta. Overall, still enjoyed the dining experience for the ambience, service and surprisingly nice oxtail stew. A 3 out of 5 star rating. This is a 2nd review after 9 months from the first visit. Ordered their bread crust sea bass and clams vongole. This time round they are offering free salad bar and drinks. The price of their mains also significantly increased to cover the free salad bar. Ambience is still good, clean and spacious. The music was a bit loud though, otherwise it will be good. Service was prompt and professional. As, when we told the service staff about changing the vongole, he immediately changed it for us. However, the pasta was still not to our liking as it was soft, mushy and sticks to your teeth. The sauce was also too salty as the salt was in clumps stuck to the mushy pasta. So 1 star rating for pasta. Other than that, all their other food was okay. Especially their salad bar offers a good dining experience for the extra vegetables and fried foods. Overall, still a 3 star rating due to the poor pasta standard, otherwise the rest are still good enough for a solid 3.5 star rating.

Came on sunday evening, had plenty seats as compared to weekday. Free popcorn and water given. Tried the beer battered fish cos its was highly reviewed but i actually felt it was just normal fish n chips. Not really special. I loved the flame chicken though! Very spicy and has a good kick. The chicken was very tender and juicy. The sides were quite meh though. Buttered veggies was normal, handmade crispy chips was soso, fries and colesaw was good though. Tried the lychee drink and it was not bad, a little sweet for me but still okay. Will be back to try their pasta and hopefully can give 5 stars. 2nd visit - will move from 4 stars to 5 stars. Came here for the weekday lunch set ($17.50 with gst & scv charge) that comes with a soup, main, drink and scoop of ice cream which was quite worth it. Food tasted good and better than what i previously had.
