This Aburi-En seems to be more crowded than others and we had to wait 15mins before we got a table for 4. Food wise it's consistent, and out of the dishes the chicken nanban don stand out for the crispy hot chicken. The rice for my Yakiniku beef don feels a bit clumpy and I wished the beef and onions were more generous. Roast Wagyu don was on point, and the tonkatsu ramen was really savoury. Food was served quickly though we had to try get the attention of the staff few times due to big crowd. Strongly recommend to pay using Krispay earn miles and also get a free ice cream.
View on GoogleDecent prices save the day and taste is on par if not slighter better than ichiban. Buta don (pork bowl) is nice with four big slices of pork. Overall, one of the better Japanese chain restaurants.
View on GoogleCame here with a family of 5. No queue, wwe just walked in, seated by warm and smiley staff and ordered our dishes. The food came in less than 15mins. The quality is perfect and sumptuous, and quantity is more than what we expected. Will return for more good food !
View on GoogleFirst dining experience at Aburi-EN Changi City. Ordered the Buta Menkaito Don, Chicken Don, Gyoza and 1 for 1 mocktails (tried shirley temple and natsu no yuki). Overall dining experience was good including the waiting time (less than 10 minutes). The food and drinks we ordered are tasty. Will be back again!
View on GoogleTried this Japanese restaurant for a weekend dinner. The place was creatively decorated with Japanese lamps shaped like pigs and it wasn’t too big or too small. When we arrived, there were only a few diners and just one server, who didn’t notice that we were waiting to be seated. Once seated, we were given the menu and asked to place our order online. We ordered the Buta Don and the Chicken Teriyaki Don. The service was fast and the portion sizes especially the meat were quite generous. The pork in the Buta Don was thinly sliced, very tender and flavourful. The rice was cooked perfectly. Their refillable Genmai tea had a nice nutty flavour. We enjoyed the food and the prices were reasonable.
