Booked over Chope for CIA SG and $14 for 3 course meals, collected food coupons, went into kitchen to see the selection and order the main, sat down in classroom to be served. I had the best fish kebab ever eaten in my life.
View on GoogleMy wife and I have been patronizing the restaurants at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) for some time. Every visit was a positive experience, and I believe also positive for the students and professors whom we had interacted with. CIA operates a high volume, semi-self service lunch in a classroom setting and a full table service, upscale dining in a more formal dining environment. The purpose of these restaurants is to allow the students to gain practical, realistic experiences and prepare them for future employment. Every visit was positive because we were able to have exchanges with the students and professors to learn more about their education, aspirations, and restaurant operations. This review is for the semi-self service lunch, which offers both lunch and breakfast menus. Food is western. You need to make a reservation on the Chope app and prepaid for the meal, which is a bargain for $14.00. Upon arrival at the institute, you need to check in and obtain a coupon that allows you to order your meal. I wanted to have the Eggs Benedict but was sold out, so I settled for the omelet. My wife had the Cocque Madam. Both sets came with abundance of sides. Good value. Please see photos. After we placed our orders, we found a table next to the garden outside of the classroom. However, majority of the customers were seated in the classroom. Minutes later, the students brought the food to our table. Each order was served on a single tray. The food was delicious. We enjoyed a great meal and also supported the students and professors.

View on GoogleMy first time trying out the lunch service at the Culinary Institute of America, Singapore. Run entirely by students, who handle everything from cooking to serving, I have to say I was really impressed by the entire operations as well as the 3 course menu that was served. And at $15 per pax (add $3 for wine) it offers unbeatable value too. Overall a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely be back for more.
View on GoogleNovember 13, 2024 Sil arranged a dinner at The Culinary Institute of America, Singapore, where the meals are prepared and served by the students. I must say I was truly impressed by the quality and presentation of the food. We were pleasantly surprised to be served a delicious cranberry pecan pie for dessert, which wasn’t included in the set menu! Great food and excellent service!
