Surprised to see a long queue for seats, and understood why after trying the food. It’s delicious, value for money, and served promptly after ordering, which makes the wait worthwhile. The platter of 10 is a must-order for us - a real feast for the eyes when it arrives. I especially enjoyed anything with their spicy mentaiko, though the fried cheese is something I’d skip next time. The lychee beer was refreshing, but the lychee flavour didn’t quite come through, so would just go for the original beer. Overall, highly recommended if you’re in the area. Just be prepared for a queue during weekend dinner peak hours. Outdoor dining under the HDB adds to the whole experience.

I just had a hearty meal at this small Japanese eatery tucked away in our heartland town, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. The food is absolutely satisfying! I will recommend the salmon sashimi and tamago. The pork was tender and flavorful, the rice was just the right texture. The place itself is small—definitely not big or spacious. You’ll be sitting quite close to other diners, and it has that cozy, slightly cramped vibe. But honestly? I am not affected by the space when the food tasted good. What really stood out was how reasonable the prices are. For the quality and portion size for 2 of us, I feel the total price ($82.83) for the food was reasonable. And the waiting time was pleasantly short—my order came out in about 10 minutes. If you’re in Tampines and craving some tasty Japanese comfort food without burning a hole in your pocket, this is the spot.

Pretty decent japanese restaurant around the neighbourhood. Environment is nice and cosy as well but not many tables. Food is a little salty and the same sauce/ seasoning was used on most of the dishes so it tasted quite one dimensional.

The food was generally acceptable, serving its purpose for a quick bite. 🍽️ The fried Camembert cheese was a particular favorite of mine. The service was quite pleasant and attentive which was a plus.

This restaurant is another hidden gem in the heartlands of Tampines. We can enjoy high-quality Japanese cuisine without spending a fortune. Plus, they also serve High Ball, Beer, and other Japanese alcoholic beverages. Overall, it’s a satisfying dinner!
