Just left a moment ago. Charging service charge with zero thanks from the cashier when I checked out the bill. Have to called staff for serving a dessert after I finished my meal for about 10 minutes. A dessert was served with a set of empty plates on my table which I ordered 4 dishes for one. Staff just squeezed in a bowl of dessert for me from another angle of a table. It’s such a ridiculous service here. It’s not even a fully seated table today. Maybe staff were not happy to serve a customer. I was not happy to dine here neither. Not a good chicken and won’t come back again. Braised beef was very salty. Deep fried squid tentacles were oily. It was not a good experience.
View on GoogleFood is average but overpriced. That, I can let slide. BUT. POOR SERVICE while charging high price for average dim sum is definitely something I cannot accept and will not tolerate. I came to have late lunch (330pm) with my 2 kids, was given a table that can sit 3/4 (refer to pic). I wasn't expecting my husband to join, but he finished work earlier than expected so decided to join us for late lunch. When he came in, he stood at our table, nobody served him. I told him to grab a chair but the nearby waitress (refer to pic) told us our table cannot sit 4pax. Then walked away. So...was my husband supposed to just stand there or was he supposed to just leave?? I then had to ask her if we could change a table then. She said can. Then left us be. We had to carrry all our utensils and food over to the table ourselves. Really?! I took my food to a table opp that sits 6 because it was more spacious, but she immediately stopped me while i was still carrying hot tea, and directed me to a smaller table beside. I cannot fathom how she did not help bring our food over, we had to do so ourselves! Btw there was absolutely no crowd at this time. We had to pay 10% service charge for this kind of BS service? Atrocious. I was wondering why the staff didn't wear name tags. So customers can't call them out? Well, photos are worse though. ***Just found out. Apparently that "waitress" was actually the MANAGER! WOW.
View on GoogleHad breakfast at tamp one outlet. The weekday $7.50 century porridge + milk tea is really worth it. The porridge is full of ingredients like chicken shred, century egg, salted egg and pork slices. The quail egg shrimp siew mai has a bit of mala on top and gave a very nice contrast to the fresh shrimp and pork. The waiter and waitresses are full of smiles and very helpful and polite. Overall I enjoyed the whole experience.
View on GoogleThe best siew Mais. So balanced and whole in flavour. I have been trying Siew mais from different dim sum eateries and restaurant and I rate Tim ho wan's the best.
View on GoogleWas here at lunch with my kids and dad on a weekday. Great crowd btw. Love the new menu changes and food quality is back to its usual tip top quality :) we stopped coming initially cos there was a drop in food standard. heard there was a change in management today hence the improved food quality. The scallion oil chicken and steamed fish are great additions. Every item was yummy. Will be back again! Kudos to the kitchen and service staff who are ever so attentive.
