View on GoogleIf you are looking for a reliable, comfortable spot for a meal in Tampines, The Food Market at Century Square is an excellent choice, especially if you value variety and cleanliness. Atmosphere and Experience • Comfort & Cleanliness: The food court is well-maintained, clean, and fully air-conditioned, making it a perfect escape from the humid afternoon heat. • Timing is Key: Visiting at 4:30 PM was a breeze. There was no queue, and despite the food court's large size, there were plenty of seats available to choose from. • Halal Variety: This is a fantastic hub for Halal dining. It features a wide array of stalls serving diverse Malay cuisine, from hearty mains to traditional snacks. The Food Highlight The standout for this visit was the Fishball Noodles. The fishballs had that perfect, satisfying bounce that indicates freshness and quality. It’s a simple dish done very well. The Verdict The Food Market offers a spacious and relaxed dining environment. Whether you are craving authentic Malay flavors or a classic bowl of noodles, it’s a high-quality, convenient option within the mall.
View on GoogleAvoid Padang Lezat, Indonesian Nasi Padang. This rice set cost $9.30 and tastes really bad and underwhelming. I thought it would taste delicious due to the premium price. But I was wrong. The kangkong is very saltly, sambal chicken is unappetizing. I am writing this review while trying to finish this expensive and unsavoury food because I am really annoyed. You dare called your shop Padang Lezat, but its no where near Indonesian Nasi Padang standard. I regret eating this, I should have gone to hawker center to eat Nasi Padang
View on GoogleFinal Review ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️ We discovered the delicious Mee Rebus and Mee Soto from a new stall that has opened at a strategic location in Century Square, which originated at Adam Food Centre. Five-star ratings! Selamat Datang Warong Pak Sapari Century Square The Food Market #03-19, Singapore 529509 Muslim-owned business Background: We learned that this stall originated at Adam Food Centre, just across the road from the Botanical Garden (the nearest MRT station is Botanical Garden), serving specialty dishes of Mee Soto and Mee Rebus. This stall is renowned for its delectable Muslim dishes. The MICHELIN Guide BIB Gourmand Singapore recognized the best Mee Soto and Mee Rebus from Warong Pak Sapari for three consecutive years, from 2023 to 2025. They have now opened a new outlet at Century Square in Tampines, where we are staying. We heard many positive reviews from customers and decided to try it out for our family lunch today. “Sedap hingga tak terkata!” (Translation: Unbelievably delicious!) Both Mee Soto and Mee Rebus are delightful and tasty 🤤. Mee Rebus (Boiled Noodles) and Mee Soto Ayam (Chicken Soto Boiled Noodles) with Super Sambal! – Eat Kakis at Century Square, Tampines! Mee Rebus and Soto Ayam are popular noodle dishes in our local community, but they differ in their sauces. Mee Rebus is served with yellow noodles in a thick, sweet, and savory sauce made from sweet potatoes, shrimp, and spices, topped with tofu, egg, and lime. Meanwhile, Soto Ayam is a spicy and fragrant chicken noodle soup served with yellow noodles, shredded chicken, bean sprouts, and sambal. Overall, the best Mee Soto and Mee Rebus we have ever had can be found at another famous Malay stall located at Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre. They are so popular that you need to line up for your order. The price is reasonable, and the staff are friendly and approachable. Come and try this delicious meal for yourself. You'll enjoy a satisfying meal and leave with a full stomach. Bon appétit! “Jom, Jalan Jalan Cari Makan”which translates in English “Let's go for a walk to find food”. If you enjoy Malay and Indian Muslim cuisine, this is the perfect place. There are many other dishes at The Food Market. Chris 12 Dec 2025
View on GoogleAVOID WESTERN FOOD Went in looking for the Alfredo with beef steak combo to check the price. Couldn’t find it on the menu, so I asked the cashier - a foreign lady who seemed to be in her 50s+. Before I could even ask, she started talking over me, loudly recommending multiple dishes. I waited 10-15 seconds for her to finish, but it was already frustrating. When I finally asked “Do you have Alfredo pasta with beef steak?”, she replied “YES HAVE BEEF IS LEMBU AH!!! AND CARBONARA YA, WITH SET INCLUDED!!!” I clarified: “No, I want Alfredo, not Carbonara. And how come there’s a set included?” She brushed that off and just pointed to the $3 set promo with salad + fries + soup. I said I didn’t need it, but she insisted “No no INCLUDED!” To keep it short I just said “without fries please.” Bill came to $16.90. The pasta tasted like plain pasta with packet cooking cream - no seasoning, no flavor. The sides went untouched. And the steak was bad. Management should look into staff training. Her approach is aggressive and pushes customers away. Also need to check QC on the food. Reminds me why I’ve avoided this place before.
