I would like to express my appreciation to the team at Sanook Kitchen for the excellent experience during our family dinner gathering on Tuesday, 16th June. We had a group of 34 pax, and the entire process was smooth from reservation to dining. A special thank you to Helmi, who assisted greatly with the reservation arrangements. He provided clear and prompt information, answered our queries patiently, and made the planning process much easier and less stressful. On the day itself, the staff were attentive, organised and accommodating despite our large group size. The food was served efficiently, and the quality was consistently good. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the meal and had a wonderful time together. We truly appreciate the professionalism and effort of the team in ensuring everything went smoothly. Thank you for helping make our family gathering a memorable and enjoyable one. Please extend our compliments and gratitude to Helmi and the rest of the team. We look forward to dining with Sanook Kitchen Tampines One again in the future.
View on GoogleMy to go whenever I want a quick but satisfying lunch or whenever I want to meet up with friends. Great ambience for a chat and good food. Tried sea bass today and it’s juicy and mild. My fave dish is the basil squid with rice. The best !
View on GoogleFood was decent and tasted ok overall but the service was quite bad, we waited really long for our food to come out and they all came out like 10-20 minutes apart from each other. Very slow and almost seemed understaffed. The atmosphere is good and calming, nice music. But the prices are a bit too much for mediocre food
View on GoogleDecided to try eating at sanook kitchenat Tampines 1...I had for my dinner yesterday... sanook kitchen is a Thai place...I have eaten many Thai foods Before in foodcourts...but this my first time eating in a Thai restaurant...wanted to c what other different dishes gave in the menu which I gave not tried before...when I saw the menu there was pad Thai, tom yum soup, fried rice dishes all of which I have tried before...I saw there was a veg spicy noodle in the menu...I have not tried veg noodle in Thai cuisine before so wanted to try it n c how it tastes like...I also ordered a red ruby cold dessert...for this restaurant have to scan qr code to order...the red ruby was ok...the veg noodle I seriously hated it...right from the start I When I started eating the noodles I had a sour taste...I wanted to know which ingredient is sour like that...so I started tasting every ingredient separately... N I found out the baby corn was giving the sour taste...my mother so many years of cooking have told me before when any ingredient or curry tastes sour it means it is a spoiled one...I went to the staff n told about it n I was told to inform the manager...I inform the manager this is happening but the reason she told me can't b accepted...she told me the baby corn not fresh 1...it is from a can so taste differently...i told her the corn not taste differently but taste v badly...she just went away...never get back to me aft that...I did not want to waste the food ny money so decided to eat finish...I paid $15.35 for the whole meal...but I was not happy about it...the taste of the red ruby was ok but there was a big ice I'm the middle...had a hard time melting the ice...pay so much but get this type of food n service??? I don't consider my money was wasted as at least I tried sanook kitchen n I know how the food, service n atmosphere is in there...there was a fly flying around the dining area...even in restaurant got fly??? But the place is v beautiful to look around... Overall I give 1 star...as I hated the food, service n the atmosphere... I have eaten in lots of foodcourts n restaurants...in every foodcourt n restaurants I eat o would always be reading my storybook n eating my food...but here I was not able to eat my food n read my book...which is a v big disappointment for me...the food not nice...fly flying around...how to read my book happily n eat my food??? kitchen side should make sure every ingredient going into the food preparation should b fresh... For me how much a food cost I m willing to pay for it but the quality of the food should b good...
View on GoogleToday (lunch, 20/4/26) is my second time visiting this shop in Tampines. The food tastes good, but during my first visit, three of us dined there and two ended up having diarrhea. Today, I decided to give it another chance. However, after finishing my meal, I saw a staff member climb up and stand on the counter to calculate items. She stayed there for more than 5 minutes, and I also noticed other employees cutting mangoes in the same area before that. After she came down, she did not clean or sanitize the counter at all. She was clearly aware that I, as a customer, had witnessed everything, but she simply ignored it and walked away. This kind of behavior shows a serious lack of hygiene standards and disregard for proper SOPs. It is very disrespectful to customers. I hope the relevant authorities will take this matter seriously!
