King Grouper Fish Soup is the store that I visited. I ordered the black grouper fish. Total with rice is $7. It might sounds like priced at higher side, but compared to food court I get fresh thicker slices of fish which I think is justified. This is my 3rd visit here.

Date: 15 June Time: 8.45am Today, I visited this coffeeshop again hoping there would be an improvement. But alas there is not only no improvement, but situation got worse: (1) there was obvious rat infestation; (2) spiderwebs all over the ceiling; (3) falling patches of old paintwork from the ceiling and walls; (4) dirty and disgusting table conditions. (5) smoking within the coffeeshop premise. I really hope that the relevant authorities will step in to take all necessary and harsh actions against errant coffeeshop operators like this one! This coffeeshop at Blk 164 Tampines Street 12 has severely fallen short of hygiene standard. I have personally witnessed today that dirt from the wall and ceiling has fallen into the drink and food of fellow patrons. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable in today’s context in Singapore.

I had this supposedly healthy fish soup with no MSG added. I ordered a $6 value set with rice 50 cents. You get lots of veggies and a few slices of fish.

Food and the like is pretty average, stuff you'd usually expect in a coffee shop. Economy Rice is my go to there but won't be eating at this particular coffee shop anymore. Issue with this place is the drink store has a really rude YP taking/making orders. This is my 3rd time having my dinner there and its the same issue everytime. Anyone who's been to this place can easily tell this person has an attitude problem. Will angrily take your order and won't even pass your drinks to you properly, he'll leave the drinks on his side of the counter and expect you to reach across just to take them. Really huge turn off to the point I wouldn't consider eating there anymore. Definitely will not recommend this place as long as that person is working there. Another minor issue is there's smokers around the dining area even though its a non smoking location so another reason to avoid if its something that affects you. Just 5 mins across the street there's another coffee shop at Blk 146 (Jia Kee)
