You can have a variety of local Hawker fare in this coffeeshop. From thosai to handmade noodles, from fried prawn noodles to big prawn noodles soup. There is also dim sum and roast nest, etc. Friendly stallholder from big prawn noodles. Try the wet version which is sweet and rich with prawn broth.

A friend recommend me to try this Bak Chor mee. Saying that this Bak Chor mee, the chilli is different from others. They will scoop a spoon and place on top of the noodles instead of mixing it like others. Ordered a standard size BCM and added a bowl of dumpling. The dumpling is quite good. Each dumpling has reasonable amount of meat and also can taste that there is a small kepo in it. Which makes the dumpling tasty. Soup base is quite tasty as well. Overall not bad eat, can try. Also saw that there are other stall that have queues. Beside is a Hokkien mee stall and on the other side there is a Wu Xiang stall which the queue is quite long. Lots of choices here. Will be back to try other foods.

Lot of nice local food here. This coffeeshop is hidden and not visible from the main road. Stalls here sell hokkien mee, thai food and the local hor fun seafood stuff. Not easy to get a seat here as there are many regulars drinkers of beers occupying at least 70 % of available tables and chairs. So my visit here is buy home instead of dining at the premises

Long Queue didn’t mean the food must be good, and of course it is subjective according to individual liking. Queuing for about 30 min for this minced pork noodle; aha you can easily find many such in many other stalls without any queue. The WTN was normal with sweet sauce (which we dislike) though the yong Tau foo was acceptable.

The attitude of the young boy (sound like non-local) making drinks at the coffee store is bad to say the least. When I accidentally paid less for the tea-o ice ($1.60 is ex when tea with milk is only $1.40), he said things like ‘you first time buy ah!’ ‘If expensive go other places loh!’., ‘call Police if you’re not happy!’ Worst attitude I ever encountered in a coffee shop. Should not in the service line with that kind of attitude. Will only tarnish the reputation of our country.
