I really enjoy this casual cafe for local breakfast and lunch. Given the affordable prices, the food quality is solid and meets expectations. While the staff are clearly very busy—especially when customers take a bit longer to order, which can cause a queue—they do their best to provide good service. It’s a popular neighborhood spot, and I often see families grabbing a meal before heading to the enrichment classes upstairs. Overall, it’s a great choice for a quick snack, coffee, or a full meal.
View on GoogleI agree on some of the reviews. We are always ordering foods here with my friends. I love the food but I don’t like the tall lady there and I believe she’s a Manager. I have been a customer here for so long. The boss can put her to other branch or let her go. She’s quite rude to staff and not friendly to customers. However, I will recommend the food and price. It is nice.
View on GoogleGreat food surprisingly. The rice is pretty fragrant. Just that lacks anchovies. Good service. Just the birds tend to fly into the shop as the return trays station is near the entrance of shop. But overall recommended.
View on GoogleOrdered Nasi Lemak Deluxe serve with roasted nuts, cabbages, fish fillet and 2 pieces of chicken mid wing. The rice is cooked well with rich flavour and fragrant. It’s always a must to go with the chilli. Serving plate is small and portion is just good for one person. Price cost $7.20 that comes with hot coffee or tea. If you don’t want drinks, 50cts will be offset. Food will take around 5 mins only. Good place to have a cup of coffee here. Tried before yuanyang, kopi, tea and it never fails me at all. Will come back and try other food.
View on GoogleFirst time eating here, the food photos on the menu look good. So i ordered their nasi lemak deluxe which comes with a hot beverage for $8.20. The set includes a fish fillet, 2 pc winglets, sunny side up, veg and some peanuts. For the taste and portioning, in my opinion, i feel that it is a rip off. I can taste a ‘fridge taste’ in the fish fillet, and the quality of it is of lower quality. The nasi lemak tasted dry and did not have much lemak taste too. The chilli easily over-powered the nasi lemak in the end totally cant tell if im eating plain rice or nasi lemak rice. The winglets were alright but it’s obvious that it’s those ready to cook, frozen factory processed wings. The peanuts tasted like it was fried and kept in a container for some days… dry and not fragrant… The guy at the counter said it includes a small side of vegetables. Indeed, the vegetables really came in a SMALL portion. Like seriously, it’s like NOT EVEN ONE WHOLE LEAF of cabbage. At the end of my meal, i was still hungry and i do not have the habit of eating rice for lunch. Usually would be full from noodles. Thought rice would make me fuller for the rest of my weekend work, but no…. Genuine question: How does the owner justify the selling price of EIGHT DOLLARS TWENTY CENTS? How much is the cost price each food item in this ‘set’? Im not gona go into the lengthy details of food, labour and overheads costs but at least give your customers better quality food lar.. not this kind of cheap low grade factory processed food for this price.. there’s no service of any kind too. What’s there for your customers to come back to? Again, this is my personal opinion. Maybe there are people who still enjoy their nasi lemak but definitely not me.
