There was a NTUC member kaya toast set for 2.30. Women refused to recognise the card on my phone and insisted that without physical card, no discount. Fine... I'm not going to argue. Then she proceeded to add a surcharge to my drink cos we asked for kosong. This has got to be the greatest laugh cos she charged me more not to add sugar to my drink. No other places have done this. And finally, the kaya toast came completely untoasted.. I don't think they are here to do a legitimate business. Just here to cheat money.... Pity cos the Indian food here is good. I will just refuse to order drinks here in the future.

😤😤 Ordered the large dry Bak Kut expecting a reasonable portion for $9.90. Unfortunately, it only came with 5 small pieces. The portion-to-price ratio was disappointing.

Ordered kaya toast breakfast set and specified I want my eggs runny. Ended up with egg yolk that's almost hardened which I absolutely hate. Asked for a change and the uncle on duty today refused citing that the egg machine is like that. I have on many occasions had the eggs runny the way I liked so I know he is just bullshitting and refusing to change. Yucky eggs photo attached I also asked for more toasted bread but of cos they did not bother to entertain even though there was nobody behind me. Pic of unappetizing toast attached

Kopitam @248 Simei Street 3 #01-136, Singapore 520248 - Revamp and a lot of new stalls - Hwa Heng Beef Noodle Awesome broth, dry version also good . Beef slices tender , tendons soft . - Sitting area outside renovated BUT the area is always messy and dirty in the morning and early afternoon. The person in charge of cleaning not really don't his part tho. - Will update more , when I try out other items there.

Many new stalls from Putian, Mala Xiang Guo yo Western and Thai Food here. Lately with the latest new addition of Putian that replaced the previous Zi Char Stalls, heard a lot of good reviews especially this Putian Zi Char. Came here today for the Putian and was not disappointed. Tried the Bee Hoon and Lor Mee which taste really awesome fir the price too! Todays lunch I tried the 百家美食 BAI JIA MEI SHI - Pan Mian that is maned by a PRC guy. He is very generous with the portion of noodles and ingredients. Taste wise is pretty standard across most Pan Mian stalls!
