I was so impressed with the newly revamped museum! 🤩 The enhanced play experience with numerous simulation games was fantastic. It's a great bonus that entry is free for Singaporeans and PRs. Definitely a must-visit! ✈️🎮✨ Now it has a comfortable waiting area decorated like you were inside a big plane, multiple power sockets also available. There is also vending machines for snacks, coffee, drinks and food. Dont forget to check the playground too, which is a plane!

It is such a good experience. With the extra activities added during Airforce Day event. Went there with my son and husband, 💯 had fun. How ever may I suggest that events like this could benefit from more organised way. The place got so crowded so fast and we have to queue for so long most of the time as there's too many people. It will be good if there's a limit per day or a max capped participants a day for a better experience. Not complaining though. ✌️

Visited the museum in November 2024, its a great free entry museum! The tour guides are informative. Whilst photos are okay- filming is not permitted and the best bit is its free entry to all, however if you are not a Singapore Resident they do ask to see ID, passports seem to be the best option- hope this helps! Hoping to revisit after the museum reopens in 2026!

DISCLAIMER: This review is based on my visit to this museum in April 2024. I thought of visiting it again recently, but I learned that it is temporarily closed for a "refresh." I wonder what is installed. Anyway, if you are an aviation enthusiast and in particular, if you are a military aviation enthusiast, then this is a must-visit place in my opinion, with quite a number of displays of retired assets (in the "open areas") that had been flown (ranging from trainers, to helicopters, to fighters, to AWACS, and to drones) or used (for example, surface to air missiles) used by the RSAF or its forerunner, the SADC (see the photos herein). And there is a "closed areas" at its upper level, showcasing the written history of the RSAF, along with military paraphernalia and models of military assets. However, please note that this place is, in my opinion, hard to get to, by public transport, and you may want to consider E-hailing or cabbing thereto - but it will well worth it (I am sure even after the "refresh").

Visited the Air Force Museum and had such an enjoyable time! The exhibits are well-curated, with a great mix of interactive displays, aircraft replicas, and real historical artefacts. It’s informative without feeling overwhelming, making it fun for both adults and kids. The storytelling of Singapore’s aviation history is clear, engaging, and visually impressive. If you enjoy military history, aviation, or hands-on learning experiences, this place is absolutely worth a visit.
