.: : ::: - Good Year Zi Char and Bak Kut Teh delivers a satisfying, no-frills meal in a spacious, comfortable setting. The bak kut teh is rich and herbal, especially enjoyable with crispy you-tiao, while the braised peanuts and pickled vegetables add comforting, traditional sides. The signature fried garlic pork is crispy and generous, making the meal feel hearty and well-rounded. A recommended spot for casual group dining and comforting flavors! 😊👍🏻✨✨✨

Despite the 70-minute journey, the long trip was definitely worthwhile after savouring the dishes. Good Year Seafood Village truly earned my first 5/5 rating in quite some time. Besides fresh seafood and Malaysian-style zi char dishes, this place is also renowned for its Pontian bak kut teh. If you do make it here, I advise you to carefully check the signage and head to the left-most corner, as there is another similar eatery just next door selling almost the same dishes.

Very enthusiastic staff outside the restaurant but once go in, the service is quite slow, hard to get their attention but overall still good. they give us whatever we request like plates and extra bowls. they also offer to change our seats when it’s too cold. Food is good! and price is reasonable. i would visit again. parking is available just outside . but take note they only accept cash or nets. i did paynow to the staff as i have no other choice .

Old school but clean and bright environment. Plenty of parking when we arrived at 6.30pm. Fast and friendly service. We ordered Assam fish, baby squid, deep fried pork, salted egg prawn, steamed garlic squid, coffee pork rib, deep fried mushroom with Kailan, sambal kangkong with cuttlefish, bak kut teh, crispy chicken. Total of 8 paxs. Dishes were all good. Herbal bak kut teh a bit too light for my liking. We ordered quite a lot of beer too. Bill came up to $360. Got too greedy during meal halfway and forgot to take quite a few dishes. Will be back again for sure
