Be careful with the pan mee stall. I saw the board showing soup pan mee ($5/$6) and other fried noodles ($6.80), I ordered pan mee. The auntie then asked whether I wanted it dry or soup. I looked at the board again, but there was no picture of dry pan mee. Personally, I prefer dry pan mee if there is a choice, so I ordered dry. In the end, the auntie gave me fried pan mee instead and charged me $6.80.

Update 23 March 2026 There are new stalls. I like the mala noodle stall. Add new pictures. ####### A new noodle stall Xiang Chi Mian that has taken over the old noodle stall. The signature mee pok is nice although I would have preferred the noodle to be al dente. The ingredients are tasty and the chilli goes very well with the noodle. The soup is flavourful but not hot. The laksa is also very nice.

I visited this shop recently. The lady kept saying that the place noisy, but I told her my order. I clearly mentioned that I wanted the curry to be separated. She didn’t seem happy about the request, although she eventually changed it. I felt uncomfortable because of her attitude. I hope they can improve their customer service and be more polite to customers in the future.

想吃面 Xiang Chi Mian Bak Chor Mee has terrible stall assistant, Chinese guy (don’t seem local or from Ch***) Rude and disrespectful customer service, In-patient and speak loudly to people ordering the food. If no calibre and capacity to work at F&B should do something else, don’t spoil appetite. If not for my Dad request, why are we paying for bad service and average food from this stall?

兴化美食，the attitude of the lady is very bad, just got 2 scoop of chilli, saying something very nasty. (Spicy till you dead，spicy till you dead). This kind of service, the store should close down.
