Decent halal sushi, albeit pricey. I enjoyed the Cha Soba and the Salmon Mentai the most. Restaurant was clean, and service was fast as the restaurant wasn’t that busy when we came for dinner. A glass of water is chargeable at $1. Bring your own wet tissues - the restaurant also charge for used wet tissue. Spent around $120++ for two.
View on GoogleRice was not cooked through, with a hard center - both in the hanamaki and the california temaki. The cawanmushi is steamed in a disposable plastic container and served with a plastic teaspoon. There were available tables and people waiting to be seated but no one acknowledged or attended to the waiting guests until we entered and approached a staff. The team were clearly exhausted and understaffed, trying to do their best within the circumstance. A far cry from the Hei Sushi of yesteryears.
View on GoogleI was greeted with a female staff who didnt even bother to look up and take my orders properly. Instead she just gave me a ticket to scan and order online. After ordering the food online and wanting to make payment another staff just made me pay and gave receipts again not looking up however busy speaking tagalog with her fellow friend. I went outside to wait for my order, the staff came out just put the food and left. Such rude staffs shouldnt even be in this service line. Will never come to this place again..
View on GoogleWent on a Saturday afternoon and they were pretty empty. Felt service could have been better (seems like they were understaffed). Most favourite were the salmon sashimi and the mushroom dish (forgot what it is called). The later tasted so surprisingly good! Would definitely recommend if you have never tried that dish before. On a last note, find them pricey compared to other sushi places.
View on GoogleTold them no lettuce for the handroll when I ordered, they delivered with lettuce. I asked the kitchen lady who delivered. Her reply was, "but it's already inside" with no further remedy. Excellent service indeed. I was there when there were little customers too, but this seems too tough for them. Probably 10x worse if you encounter them during a time they have customers.
