What a pleasant surprise this place turned out to be. One of the best halal vietnamese restaurant The restaurant is beautiful, with a cozy atmosphere and lovely decor that makes it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The food was excellent — the pho broth was rich and flavourful, portions were generous, and the beef was tender. The ribeye pho was especially impressive, with beef that practically melted in the mouth. The garlic bread with cheese dip was an unexpected highlight and an absolute must-order. The Vietnamese coffee was also strong, thick, and packed with flavour. Friendly service, great food, and a wonderful ambience. My only small suggestion would be to offer more customisation options for the pho, such as adding extra portions of beef (unless I missed it on the menu!). Will definitely be back again. Visited for lunch with a friend and had a very pleasant overall experience. The environment is quiet, clean, and comfortable — a great place for a relaxed catch-up. The staff were also polite and attentive, which made the dining experience even better. I ordered the Phở Bò Beef Ribs Soup Noodle with steamed prawns and a lemongrass ginger tea, while my friend went for a promotional chicken noodle set with fried spring rolls and a drink. The phở broth was light and subtly sweet — not overly rich, which I appreciated. The beef ribs were quite different from what I usually have at Vietnamese restaurants; instead of the texture and slices, it reminded me more of Hong Kong-style braised beef brisket in clear broth. The only disappointment was the rice noodles, which were a bit too soft and lacked the springy texture I was expecting. Overall, still a nice and comfortable place for a casual meal.

Visited Kandahar’s outlet a couple of times and decided to try the Downtown East outlet for the first time in February 2026. The restaurant was almost empty and quiet on a weekday night, unlike Kandahar’s busier atmosphere. Really enjoyed the ambience and, of course, the food. The staff were attentive and friendly, which added to the overall experience. However, the waiting time for both food and drinks could be improved, especially since the restaurant wasn’t crowded. My main concern arose while we were enjoying our meal, we noticed that the chilli sauce on our table had already expired. When we checked the bottle at the next table, it had the same expiry date. This was quite disappointing. The restaurant should ensure proper checks are carried out so that all condiments and ingredients served are within their expiry dates. It also made us wonder whether the ingredients used in the kitchen are being monitored just as carefully.

We recently celebrated our son’s 8th birthday with about 40 guests, and it turned out to be such a wonderful afternoon. We went with a buffet spread of Vietnamese delicacies, and the food was absolutely delicious — our guests kept going back for seconds! More importantly, it was just great being surrounded by good food and even better company. A special shoutout to Hafiz, the restaurant owner, and his amazing team. They were incredibly helpful throughout — accommodating all our requests (even the last-minute ones!) with so much patience and warmth. Hafiz personally helped with the cake setup, organizing the birthday song, and even the backdrop arrangement, which made everything feel extra special. The ambience and setup were perfect for a gathering like ours — comfortable, welcoming, and well-organized. And on top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for what we received. All in all, a fantastic experience, and we’ll definitely be back again. Thank you for making the celebration so memorable!
