KPT coffeeshop Pasir Ris is a newly renovated coffeeshop. They have a few popular stalls in this coffeeshop. Roasted chicken/pork/char siew stall, Ban Mian stall, economic bee Hoon stall, wanton noddle stall, mixed vegetables and cooked food stall, Malay Muslim stall and the western food stall.

This coffee shop used to be my top choice in the vicinity, known for its stalls run by the owners themselves, not just workers. While the nighttime fishball noodles doesn't taste good and the breakfast chee cheong fun isn't what it used to be, the Western, ban mian, chicken rice, and Muslim food stalls maintain their original owners. It seems times have certainly changed, moving towards commercialisation.

Went on a Friday evening for dinner and there wasn’t many people with many empty seats. I like the western stall the most. It’s very old school style, fuss free, with very reasonable price. Chicken chop, and fried chicken wings are very delicious. Fries is one of the best I ever had. The service is quite fast as well, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food even though there was quite a few people in the Q. Stall uncle is very kind too! In terms of coffee shop’s cleanliness - it’s not the cleanest, but still quite okay.

I frequent this coffee shop as I live nearby, but this new zichar store absolutely takes the cake. We saw it was new so we decided to give it a try. When we ordered the vegetables, we pointed to the style of cooking which I have circled in red, and told the waitress we wanted the garlic $8 one. She said okay, food was served first and money was collected without giving us the receipt to check, after that we realised she charged us $15 for the vegetables.. called another waitress to point it out and after realizing we made a good point, went back to continue serving dishes to other tables. So we had to stand up and walk over to settle the price dispute. Store was absolutely adamant on the price and did not offer to refund the difference or refund in full until we insisted. One of them walked over and took the plate off our table and walked straight to the bin to get it cleaned up, to "show" us they didn't give a care in the world. Absolutely horrendous shop, please do not patronise, the other stores have better staff attitude and also food, please avoid at all costs. I recommend the western store, if a plate of vegetables is gonna cost $15 just for some garlic on top, I rather you get an entire spring chicken for the protein (; cheers

I am so impressed with the western stall. I ordered fish and chip for take away . When i reached home i open my box and love the way they seperate the fish from the rest of the side dishes so that it won't get soggy. They are so thoughtful. So rare to see kopitam packed this way. I am not a fries person but i always finished their fries. Their fried chicken is also Oh SO YuMMuY!
