The original shop selling You Tiao is no longer there, although the old You Tiao Mei sign board still remains. The new stall sells mixed rice and zi char one dish meals Curious, I ordered the zi char: Salted Egg Pork Chop Rice - it was quite good but I was disappointed that there wasn't any fried egg when the signboard picture had shown the dish was served with a fried egg. Stir Fried Hor Fun - above average with good Wok Hei taste. This place is only take away.

Very fair quality and price - definitely a viable alternative for those seeking fried snacks in the area as Old Chang Kee can attract quite a queue in the morning and evening. The location is excellent too, very convenient when going to or coming from the bus interchange. It is not too much of a detour either from the MRT station as it is located beneath.

Very oily and rancid tasting. Dough fritters and carrot cake are hard and dripping oil indicating they’ve likely been refried. The dough fritters are not fragrant but reek of rancid oil.

Oddly enough, for a business with you tiao in their name, their you tiao loses out to dough culture's ones which is available just outside of white sands

Just went around 3plus. The stall asst let someone cut my queue. Very poor customer service.
