One of those days where u crave for spicy food , so gave this indonesian nasi padang shop a go as attracted by the set food menu photos on display . Had the beef redang which came with 2 side dishes of choice from the items on display. The beef rendang was tender n rich in flavour , that went well with the white rice. The mix veg had a nice crunch n the potato onion fried patty was tasty. A simple cold drink of lemon grass or pandan could have been provided as a good gesture for the set meal of $10, as could be pricy for office workers who want halal meal .
View on GoogleTaste of Indonesia serves one of the best gado-gado, with generous ingredients and great flavor. The ikan penyet is fresh and comes with a comforting oxtail soup, while the sambal is spicy and truly authentic. They also offer Nasi Padang for those who want to enjoy a variety of Indonesian dishes. Although you need to place your order yourself, the staff go the extra mile by bringing the food to your table. This has become our go-to dining spot whenever we’re at Pasir Ris Mall.
View on GoogleI'm so surprised with the variety of their food, they have so called the most seek after menu. And the portion is unusualy generous. I order gule kambing and it comes with lots of meat in a big bowl and can be shared for 3 people, other food also taste amazing and the service was fast. Highly recomended on this economy to find such worth paying food. No I didn't get paid to say this 🤭 in fact this is my 1st time came to this place and will return. I knew they have similar setup at Paya lebar square but those branch doesnt have plenty options and their portion is small, they dont use bowl for soupy dish and they use plastic spoon and fork which rather unconvenient for me to use for like ayam penyet. I came back 2 days later and try their Buntut bakar it comes with large bowl of soup and extra meat I hope my video and photos can do the justice. Im very satisfied with their portion.
View on GoogleI used to enjoy eating the Bakso here at least once a month because the meatballs were always tender, meaty, and satisfying. Unfortunately, after the recent price increase from $8.80 to $10, the quality no longer feels the same. The meatballs are now inconsistent in texture and taste, and overall the food quality seems to have dropped compared to before. It’s quite disappointing, especially as a regular customer who genuinely liked this place. I hope the management can improve the consistency and quality again because this used to be one of my favourite places for Bakso.
View on GoogleOrdered through Foodpanda and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of meat in the oxtail soup (Sop Buntut). The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity given. It stated 3–4 pieces of meat, but I definitely received more than four — the meat portion was even more than the soup! Very satisfying and value for money. Will definitely reorder!
