Ordered two waffles and waited about 15 minutes. The staff apologised for the wait, which I appreciated. However, when I got back, the kaya waffle was badly burnt on the bottom and completely inedible, while the cheese waffle was fine. It was disappointing that the burnt side was hidden and nothing was mentioned. Mistakes happen, but this shouldn’t have been served to a customer.
View on GoogleI was there on 29/07/2026 around 6:20pm. Got 6 buns and told the cashier in advance before payment that I want separate packing into 2 carriers. She didn’t response to me, straight packing the bread and entry into system for my payment. Throughout the process she didn’t said extra charge for extra bag. When I reach out for the 2 bags after payment, she hold on to them and said she needs to ask her colleague if need to charge 10 cents for extra bag. In the end, she said yes, 10 cent for another bag. Hello! My payment is done and I’ve informed you on my request before anything. You should check and inform me separate package is chargeable. The reason for my request was, I’m paying 4 buns for my sister in law who is with me in the Q and only 2 buns are mine. If I know there’s extra charge, I’ll made payment separately!!!
View on GoogleChecked the new Pasir Ris mall and saw this sandwich kiosk at Basement 1. It caught my attention with its wide range of sandwiches that include savoury and sweets, and bagels. Had difficulty deciding and ended up buying the Soy Chicken with Egg and Cheese sandwich and the Fish Fillet with Egg Bagelwich. They came in half portion, chilled and nicely packed for ease of eating. Both sandwiches were tasty and packed with ingredients. They didn't sting on the filling, and it wasn't soggy but held its sandwich firmness. Don't expect the standard of a cafe or bakery that specialises in sandwiches, but definitely value for money.
View on GoogleGot some Japanese-style sandwiches for Xmas. Almost all the sandwiches have egg in it so plz take note. Service is friendly and quick. Easy deal 🤝 The sandwiches are quite filling so don't let its small size fool you. Fave Meat 'Wiches: Spicy Korean Kimchi (quite spicy) and Chicken Ham and Egg (there were mini pickles inside, making the flavor so much better). Buy 2 @ a cheaper price (abt $5+). Recommended 👍
View on GoogleSwee Heng has made a lot of contributions in terms of its expansion of the bread or bakery business to explore the realm of gourmet sandwiches and the way they did it is so seamless. Using just words for the official store name and a whitewashed decoration gives this diversified bread business a class of its own. I got to try their sushi-inspired sandwich and a tuna mayonnaise sandwich and both were tasty and value-worth. The sushi sandwich has white bread used as the 'Japanese rice' worked out well with the savoury nori seaweed and the assorted ingredients in the sushi like tuna mayonnaise and cucumber. It was so good that 3 pieces seemed not enough to fill the growling stomach. As for the usual tuna mayonnaise sandwich, the bread used is a special-flavoured bread that is spread with tons of fillings including lettuce or cabbage and a sauce that sewn the whole sandwich perfectly.
