I have been buying this TERIYAKI CHICKEN DON from many years ago at a price of $7.10 to the price now at $9.40. Many things have been excluded and today, I asked for red ginger and the assistant told me it had been taken away since a while ago…I brought it back and opened up and another SURPRISE is there is also no seaweed. The cashier who served me couldn’t understand red ginger in both English & Chinese…The portion has also been reduced and the food is just mediocre… My honest take is I will never buy from this MEN MEN DON DON at White Sands anymore. Based on other google reviews, I think overall this is not a great place to pick up takeaway or dine in… Nothing but the core truth…Truth hurts me and MEN MEN DON DON. Please improve before more customers shun your store.. 👎👎👎

Came on Friday lunchtime for takeaway. The cashier didn't tell me how much more for takeaway so I got a small surprise. Got pork katsu curry rice. The rice was a little too moist. The curry was so-so. The pork cutlet had a very crunchy coating, but the meat was a tad dry. The takeaway packaging was thoughtful. The curry was separated from the rice and cutlet.

Oyako don White Sands - too salty to eat. Very disappointed. The chicken also do not taste fresh. Have not bought from this stall for a very long time. Didn't know they no longer packed without separator for the ingredients which is important for take away for this dish.

It has been a while since I last had from this store, seeing that there’s no queue, I decided to buy my take away food from here. The long hair waist length Chinese Cashier was super rude when taking order, after paying, she just threw my receipt by the counter top. The other two staffs were seen to be hardworking. But the cashier job was just to take order, yet she is damn rude. Now I know why the shop has no business. Food wise, it was well packed and still warm after the journey of 30 mins. No cutlery 🍴 was given. Food was tasty. But I will not patronise this shop ever again, if this cashier is still there. Personally i feel that the cashier can be done away, replacing her with automated cashier instead. It may bring the shop more biz.

The mixed sashimi rice was nothing like what was shown on their posters and menu. The sashimi tasted stale and fishy and I tried to use alot of wasabi with soya sauce to hopefully reduce the fishy smell while chewing on it. However, I had a rude shock when there were actually bones in the salmon! I felt nauseated & didn't finish the food since I had the phobia of choking on bones... the food was made worse by toxic cooking fumes where very bad cooking fumes were constantly coming directly from the Wok Hey that was situated back to back with this sushi eatery. Dining in at this Men Men Don Don branch was akin to eating at a robust hawker center where there is non-stop heavy frying from hawkers stalls. We smell really bad when dining in at this branch. And the sashimi is stale with bones, Urgh! NOT recommended!
