Had a little sore throat yesterday and came across this shop while passing by. I’m not really a believer in Chinese medicine, but thought I’d give it a shot. I requested for no sugar added, and the service crew recommended a cooling tea along with their gui ling gao (which tasted somewhat like grass jelly). The drink was bitter, as expected since it was unsweetened, but I knew it was good for me. While drinking and eating, my throat felt less harsh and my sore throat actually went away after about fifteen minutes!

Arrived at 9.54pm hoping to buy something but they’ve already started packing up even though officially opening hours are until 10. I understand closing times mean a thing but for something that more retail than a dine in option, they should at least keep their POS open until the actual closing time. FYI I’m typing this at 9.58pm in front of a closed shop.

Finally a branch in Pasir Ris! Love their gui ling gao. Also missed their peppermint variant which was discontinued during the covid pandemic. Service is very good at this branch. A tad too quiet which don't do their shop location justice as their products are pretty effective in dispelling heatiness and detoxifying. Highly recommend their gui ling gao (龟苓膏) & er shi si wei cooling tea (二十四味凉茶)!

Favourite dessert shop. Located at corner ground floor beside escalator. Great dessert after a hearty spicy meal. Good for cooling and reduce heat. Recommended
