Tried JiangHu Hotpot at Pasir Ris and was genuinely impressed. The concept of combining hotpot, BBQ, and grilled fish in one buffet is super fun and convenient. The broth was flavourful (especially the pickled fish soup), ingredients were fresh, and I really enjoyed the grilled skewers on the conveyor belt. Great variety, friendly service, and clean space — it’s a solid spot for casual gatherings or dinner with friends. Would definitely come back!

Reserved one pax for myself via Eatigo and the total bill amounted to just $20.02 (50% off lunch buffet price + $2.80 soup). Upon glancing at the guestbook, I saw that many others also utilised Eatigo to make their reservations. Compared to Good Combo Hotpot and BBQ, the meat quality here is worse but the variety of food is better. They even have eomuk (which was kinda average, but a nice novelty) and interesting skewers which you could grill. My favourites were the pickled chili beef, black pepper dory and surprisingly the carrot fish dumplings! The latter was reminiscent of mochi and had a good bite. The mid-wings were quite flavourful too but needed to be cooked for a while on the grill. Their prawns didn't taste 100% fresh but you pay for what you get. The conveyor belt concept is nice and novel at the beginning but when you see the same line of food again and again, you'd get bored in no time. Do note that the items that you have to book through the website are different from what you can get from the belt. Personally, if I were to dine solo, I would not come back here again as the items provided seemed more suitable for 2-3 pax to share. Good Combo meat quality is also better and you can choose however much you'd like to eat. Also, I'm not quite understanding the allure of the gacha that you can play after making payment - it seems like the restaurant offers you a discount (mine was 20%) though I could get a better deal via Eatigo - unless you cinch the elusive voucher which offers a free grilled fish.

This restaurant is at the entrance of Pasir Ris Mall. Passed by everyday and smell great. Finally went in to dine yesterday. Was there at 4.30pm when the 烤鱼 buffet was still ongoing (end at 5pm weekdays) so ordered that to try. Good value for money. For $19.80 +++ (nett $23.74) with time limit of 90 min, get to choose from 5 style of cooking (I selected 香辣), choose the sides to go with the fish from a list, can also choose rice or fried mantou and dessert. Drink, fruits also included in the price. The fish is very fresh and not much bones. Really enjoyed it. ---- Updated 17 Apr 2025 Went back for the 烤鱼 buffet again. This time chose the garlic non-spicy cooking style. My mistake was I ordered too many sides this time. The staff did ask me twice if I could finish all the food. 90 min time limit starts from the time you enter. Need to factor in time for ordering and cooking the fish. Had only 60 minutes to eat. As there is penalty if there are leftovers, had to rush to finish instead of enjoying the food leisurely. Did not have time to eat the desserts and ice cream. The food is great. Fish is fresh and meaty. I prepared some sauce and seasoning from the condiment bar but did not have to use it as the fish meat was sweet and flavourful with the garlic. My favourite side has to be the 宽粉. I always include this for 麻辣火锅. Really good as it is thin, transparent, soft and chewy compared to the thick versions elsewhere. --- Updated 18 Jun 2025 Went back to Jianghu Buffet Pasir Ris Mall for BBQ buffet. Time limit of 90 minutes. Enjoyed it. Food were seasoned well and taste good. Staff were polite and helpful. Scan the provided QR code to order and a train will bring the dishes. Can also select the dishes on the conveyor belt. This is much more convenient than having to collect the food items from a common area like some other buffet restaurants. They indicate clearly if the dish is for hotpot or BBQ. The BBQ hotplate is individual. Useful if going with friends with different food preference eg those who don't eat beef.

A Feast for the Senses, a Puzzle for the Wallet. Jianghu Buffet at Pasir Ris Mall presents a compelling proposition: a sprawling array of fresh seafood and Chinese delicacies, promising an indulgent dining experience. As a self confessed foodie, I’m always keen to analyze value propositions, and as a passionate food reviewer, I’m equally discerning about quality and service. Let's start with the positives, and there are many. The freshness of the seafood is undeniable. The oysters, in particular, were plump, briny, and simply exquisite – a testament to the restaurant's commitment to sourcing quality ingredients. The variety on offer is also impressive, catering to a wide range of palates. From sizzling stir-fries to delicate dim sum, there's something to satisfy every craving. The ambiance is bright, clean and cheery, and the service, while occasionally stretched during peak hours, is generally attentive. However, there's a significant caveat: the discount structure. Navigating the labyrinth of promotions across various platforms proved to be a frustrating exercise in deciphering fine print. The advertised deals, while enticing, lacked transparency and clarity, leading to a sense of ambiguity at the point of payment and this aspect of the dining experience fell short of expectations. In terms of food quality, Jianghu Buffet delivers. The oysters alone are worth a return visit. However, the management needs to streamline and simplify their discount system. A more transparent and straightforward approach would significantly enhance the overall customer experience and foster greater trust. Food: 4.5/5 (Oysters are a standout) Service: 3.5/5 (Can be stretched during peak hours) Value: 3/5 (Discount structure needs serious improvement) Overall: A strong contender for hotpot + bbq lovers, but be prepared to navigate a discount puzzle. Recommendation: Go for the fresh seafood, especially the oysters, and be sure to clarify all discounts before settling the bill. Jianghu Buffet has the potential to be a top-tier dining destination, provided they address the transparency issues surrounding their promotions.
