Wow absolutely amazing prawn noodles. I would highly recommend to get the dry one that comes with a bowl of soup and the ingredients. The noodles itself is cooked perfectly and is still a little al dente. The sauce is already lightly spicy if you do not tell them any special request. They do have the dry chilli powder but I feel like if you add that then it becomes a little too spicy. The soup was extremely flavourful and if you finished it and want a little more you can come back and ask them for a refill. The prawns itself were split half and in my opinion the standard prawns with nothing much to rave about. The pork ribs were really tender and I'd highly recommend getting it. Perhaps try the XL prawn noodle too! It is more expensive but looks really huge. Overall this place is still one of the best prawn noodles ive tried in Singapore.
View on GoogleLoyang Way Big Prawn Noodles is worth a visit if you are in the East. For $6, you get an incredibly rich, umami-packed broth and fresh, sweet prawns that are well above average. The soup comes loaded with crispy pork lard and fried shallots that you can feel really improves the flavour. A bit out of the way in the industrial area, but 100% worth it for a comforting hawker meal.
View on GoogleDefinitely one of the best prawn noodles in Singapore 🇸🇬! The dish was almost perfect in every sense. The noodles were marinated so well, I could just eat it alone. Together with the soup, it gave a hearty flavour to satisfy even the toughest prawn noodles fans
View on GoogleThe broth has strong Unami taste but a bit salty, suspect they must have added MSG too as we felt thirsty after the meal. The portion for the noodles is a bit small for $6 (ordered #1 meal) and thus not filling. The prawns are not super fresh as the meat is a bit on the soft side. No fish cake and pork slices like the usual traditional prawn noodles! Overall, feel that it’s overrated for winning the recent class 95 poll. Saving grace is there is ample parking available but the canteen is really out of the way. Thankfully, we were there at about 10:30 am and there wasn’t a queue. In short, will not make a special trip there again.
View on GoogleSaw many videos lately raving this as the top prawn noodles so decided to give it a try, my thoughts on it was the prawn was definitely fresh and quality, but the noodles was overly saucey and clumpy together like a rice ball. Soup was nice though, overall it is okay but will not come here just for the prawn noodles unless I happen to be around here.
