We had a wonderful dining experience at Tekong Seafood Restaurant. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Every dish was well prepared, and our whole family really enjoyed the meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The service was efficient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you for the excellent food and warm hospitality. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great seafood and a pleasant dining experience!
View on GoogleIn the eastern tip of Singapore, you find this gem of a seafood restaurant. Not as fancy and famous as other seafood restaurants, Tekong Seafood offers a wide range of dishes. We ordered the chilli crab, the steamed crab, prawn paste chicken, sweet potato leaves and crispy baby sotong (squid). The steamed crab was divine - the subtle flavours of the crab titillated our taste buds. The baby sotong was also delightful.
View on GoogleSit here watch aeroplanes landing while enjoying seafood. Very unique location. Able to accommodate us without any reservation on Mother's Day. Food is fresh and delicious taste. Transparent pricing. Indoor seating is air-conditioned while outdoor can spot aeroplanes while dining but do bring along mosquito repellent.
View on GooglePs. This is not a sponsored review, 100% a makan customer’s thought 😁 Celebrated dad’s 76th birthday here today. I suggested to my sibling to have the dinner here as I had dine here before and the food is really nice, Chinese saying 不踩雷. Yes, none of the dishes was not delicious. Crabs was very fresh, I described the meat as “bouncy aka 弹牙”. Prawn paste chicken very juicy and be careful when u eat, it’s very hot and juicy inside 🤤 Please try their mee goreng, it’s spicy, tangy with a balance sweetness, so flavorful ! So much to talk about their food but not forgetting their service, their serving staff are friendly and attentive, helped change our plates when dirtied. They even prepared another new table for us to shift over (of cos provided the restaurant is not packed) to let us have the cake cutting moments. Boss was so nice, gave us a plate of fruits platter knowing it was my dad’s birthday 😊 even the staff at the exit door said “happy birthday uncle !” 😍
View on GoogleKitty and I visited this restaurant together with our two children. We had first stopped at Loyang Toh Pek Kong Temple to pray, and by the time we arrived here it was already ten o’clock in the evening. According to Google, the listed closing time was eleven o’clock, so we were unsure if we could still be served. When we entered, there was only one other table of patrons. We were very pleased to find the staff still very welcoming, even though it was close to their closing hours. They did not show any sign of rushing us, and served us wholeheartedly throughout our meal. The place has a simple and cosy atmosphere. We initially expected prices to be quite high, but after checking the menu, we found them very reasonable. They also offered a good promotion on drinks, so we ordered a jug of fresh watermelon fruit juice for only ten dollars, which was refreshing and enjoyable. We ordered a good spread of dishes to share. The Prawn Paste Chicken was well fried, with a crisp, fragrant coating and juicy meat inside. The Sweet and Sour Pork had a well balanced tangy sweet sauce and tender pieces, mixed with fresh onions and peppers. The Hotplate Tofu arrived sizzling hot, with soft, smooth tofu, minced meat, mushrooms and vegetables in a rich, savoury gravy. The seasonal vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, retaining a pleasant crunch. The standout dish was definitely the Mian Xian. It was really nicely prepared, with a light yet flavourful broth and soft noodles that everyone at the table praised highly. We also had Mee Goreng, which was nicely seasoned and came with fresh prawns and vegetables, and Fried Rice. While the fried rice tasted good, we felt it was priced slightly higher at eighteen dollars. We also ordered soft drinks to complete the meal. The total bill came to one hundred and twenty‑seven dollars and ninety cents, inclusive of service charge and GST. We found this fair for the quality, portion sizes, and especially the warm hospitality we received so late in the evening. We appreciated the staff for their patience and good service. It is a reliable spot for hearty, comforting food, and we would happily return again.
