Smith Marine started off in 2006 as a fish farm. In remembrance to our past as a humble fishing port, we created a modern kelong using a steel pontoon.

Incredible dining experience, I highly recommend experiencing dining here at least once. The food here is fresh, although for its portion, the price can be a bit steep. Overall, the indoor seating area is well ventilated with a relaxing view overseeing the water. Just make sure you made a reservation beforehand as the place is limited to about 60 diners. Staff here were friendly. However, their service speed could use a slight improvement. Side note, they have a foosball, air hockey and pool table for customers.

Our first visit. We come with 10 person. Place was clean. Foods served fast as there are only 2 tables occupied. Food was delicious. Portion was generous. We can walk around the kelong while they prepare the foods.

We had the 7 course set. Food was fresh, good, and sufficient. Staff is friendly, helpful and ambience is no frills. They have well-used pool, foots-all, air hockey and Jena jenga. It may be too rustic for some but my aged parents loved it. It’s nice and relaxing to walk around the Kelong, and the old folks love lazing at the open covered deck. They arranged ferry transport from Changi ferry terminal. Payment by cash, PayLah or PayNow only.

Its not everyday that you can eat in a kelong! Price wise, higher than what you get at regular coffeeshop TzeChar restaurants. For fish (Gang-zhen) fish was overcooked (hence tough). Prawns were fresh and bouncy - but they didnt remove entrails. Drinks are also a little on the high side Accessibility to location is poor/difficult (take boat, minimum 12 pax) But environment is interesting (its a kelong)! But you cant go too far in - to explore the kelong (out of bounds). Overall, a very interesting experience.
