It’s walking 100m away from Pulau Ubin jetty and the only restaurant on the island. The island still remains the 1970s atmosphere, like old kampong village. Overall the food quality above fair and not salty, the lemon chicken and egg veg omelette must try. The sea breeze blows in the non-Aircon restaurant is cooling on a sunny afternoon lunch and drink with a chill coke, refreshing 😎. The place is large to host over 100 people and serves beer too.

This is Ubin. Lower your expectations and you will be able to appreciate it for what it is: and island seafood restaurant that only has customers on weekends and public holidays, so it has to do what it has to do to survive and manage the large crowds on weekends. Food taste is no frills and acceptable. Don't expect high end restaurant standard. Stand out dishes include steamed live garoupa with lots of soup (note $70 per kg) prawn roll. Don't order the fried rice as nothing special: just go for white rice to eat with the dishes. Service is minimal. Once dishes are served, you are on your own. If you need bowls or extra utensils, be proactive and ask.

Came here because our regular go-to, Cheong Lian Yuen Seafood Restaurant, was undergoing renovations, but unfortunately it was a total disappointment. We ordered 7 dishes for 5 people - steamed prawns, steamed flower crabs, fried baby squid, salted egg calamari, shrimp paste chicken wings, fried rice, and stir-fried baby kailan. The fried rice was bland, the long beans tasted undercooked, and the fried baby squid wasn’t even crispy. The salted egg calamari tasted more like flour than salted egg. The lady boss assured us the prawns were “fresh from the sea,” but they neither looked nor tasted particularly fresh. The only saving grace was the steamed flower crabs (hard to go wrong with a simple steam if the crabs are fresh) and the shrimp paste chicken wings. Overall, the food was definitely not worth the price and we won’t be back. Felt more like a tourist trap for foreigners who don’t know any better.

No better place to park your self for a seafood lunch and beer after your jaunt in Ubin. Great ambience by the sea and live seafood available. Beer selection is limited (large bottles only!) but reasonably priced. The portions are S M and Large. Typically ($12,18 and $22). S portion may fall short of adequate sharing between two. Note: sometimes the menu description may not match the food, it's better to ask. E.g they served a different Kailan!

Kitty, I, and a group of cycling friends stopped by Season Live Seafood on Pulau Ubin after a long ride. It was convenient, being one of the few restaurants open with space, and the option of beer was a welcome relief after our cycling event. (Though some of our friends opted for the Malay store nearby) We ordered approximately a dozen dishes (a photo is attached), totalling $193. While the fried rice and hor fun were reasonably sized for the large size we ordered. Most other dishes we ordered are small size. Frankly, the food was fairly bland. While nothing was overtly bad, the flavours lacked depth and punch. Despite the less than fantastic food, we enjoyed the meal immensely thanks to great company and refreshing beers. The service was acceptable, nothing to rave about, but nothing overtly negative either. Given the limited dining options on Pulau Ubin, especially when other establishments were packed, Season Live Seafood provided a decent meal with an ocean view.
