Great place, good atmosphere. Live band with a nice view and draft beer. It could have been a perfect spot but the food is quite pricey and a bit "sad" with half filled cold quesadilla for example

Kitty and I recently enjoyed a lovely meal at Coastal Rhythm in East Coast Park. The location is absolutely stunning, right on the water with beautiful views. We were lucky to have a quiet visit, with only a couple of other tables occupied, making for a really peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the calamari fritti and two Guinness. The calamari was delicious, perfectly cooked, and the dipping sauce was amazing. The total bill was $46.76 (including service charge and GST), which we thought was reasonable considering the quality of the food and the fantastic location. While the food and the view were exceptional, the service was a bit lacking. It seemed like they might have been understaffed, as there was only one person working the counter, and service was a little slow and not overly attentive. But, the friendly service and lovely location more than made up for that small drawback. Overall, Coastal Rhythm in East Coast Park is a great place for a casual meal with a view. The delicious calamari and beautiful setting make it a worthwhile option for a treat or a special occasion.

I think this restaurant survives mainly because the wakeboarders eventually get hungry and don’t have many other options. The setting is genuinely beautiful, but the food doesn’t come close to justifying the prices. $28++ for a burger? I’d happily pay that if it came with a homemade brioche bun, freshly ground beef grilled on charcoal, homemade sauce, premium Swiss cheese, and fries that didn’t come straight from the freezer. Instead, it tastes like a frozen patty that’s been deep-fried and placed in a supermarket bun. Certainly not the place I would take my parents for a treat.

Coastal Rhythm (East Coast Park): Lovely View, Tasty Calamari, Reasonable Price 4 out of 5 stars Ratings: • Food: 4/5 (Enjoyable calamari; good sauce) • Service: 3/5 (Friendly but not particularly attentive; possibly understaffed) • Ambiance: 4.5/5 (Beautiful waterfront location; calm and quiet atmosphere) • Value: 4/5 (Price reasonable considering location and quality) • Overall: 4/5 Donkey and I recently visited Coastal Rhythm at East Coast Park. It offers a pleasant waterfront dining experience with lovely views. We ordered calamari fritti and two Guinness beers. The calamari was tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the sauce. The total bill came to $46.76, including a 10% service charge and 9% GST. While the service charge and GST are added, the price was still reasonable considering the location and quality of the food. The location itself is beautiful, providing a lovely view of East Coast Park. The atmosphere was calm and uncrowded during our visit (only two other tables occupied), and it wasn't noisy at all. The service was friendly, but not particularly attentive, this might have been due to only one person working the counter. Overall, Coastal Rhythm provides a nice setting for a casual meal with a view. The price is reasonable, making it a worthwhile option for a special occasion or a treat.

It was a nice place to chill with the nearby beach breeze and live music (only the weekend). The food was great, especially the taco but the Prawn tapas was too salty. Service was really good with very friendly staff. We are back here to enjoy the music and food. Fabulous live music and soothing selection in between as well as a delish menu.
