Just came by and wanted a Student meal as I was turning 24 this year on August and promotion stated “23 AND below” This fine gentlemen behind the cashier took out a calculator and continued to debate that I am above the age to purchase that meal and showed a very poor attitude when i was trying to explain the meaning of “23 and below” that it did not meant “below 23”. I am very disappointed that I could not get my quick simple meal even though I was of the right age and category as a student. For further clarifications, by all means to check my eligibility. But I hope you do something about this poor behaviour in ur staff.

It was quiet during the weekday and the outlet was rather empty, so it was peaceful. The food came relatively fast and the lady at the counter was so patient in taking my orders and she made sure she repeated as I had three different set meals.

The food and service was excellent. Kit and Sahlan is friendly and attentive to customers wants and needs. I’m very happy to be dining here. It wasn’t planned but I was on the way back sending my mother home and it was the best decision made having dinner here.

Pasta mania stall is located in Viva Business Park. The food is surprisingly serve pippin hot from the oven. The garlic bread is crisp and just right, with a well made mushrooms soup. After the Covid restrictions have been lifted, both food taste and service has been hits-or-missed. At times, the food can be good and other time, the food is just average I am not too sure about the closing time, but I am satisfied with the food. The service can be further improve by offering advice on what is recommended. Despite the cost of food has increased, and it would be great to have tie - in rebate. Overall, a wonderful dinner.

[edit 1 May 2026] been visiting weekly and Sya has always been polite and friendly to take my order at the cashier despite being busy with packing takeaway orders. She is attentive and could remember my order over time as I frequent the outlet often and also remembered I would ask for glass of warm water usually. It’s the little details and friendliness that made the ordering and dining experience better. Its great that Chai Chee ESR branch has Sya who is polite and attentive to customers orders despite her being busy with packing takeaway orders and also clearing up tables promptly. [1st review] Would like to compliment Zul (asked for his name as he does not have a name tag) at ESR chai chai branch. He has been hardworking to clear up the tables, taking orders, packing food for food delivery riders and despite being busy, he took note of the special requirements of my order correctly and remained polite to customers when taking orders at the counter. His hardworking behaviour was observed during my visits to this branch and he is a valuable staff who puts in his best to be quick and polite despite having to multi-task.
