On Wednesday 25 March 2026, I had grilled fish with butter rice for my lunch from Hock Choo Co at the corner Changi Road and Lorong Mydin in Kembangan, and I liked this meal as the grilled fish with butter rice tasted very delicious. Overall, the service provided to me was very good and I would love to try these other types of food from the other stalls (except pork and beef) from this coffee shop in the future.

The char kway teow is terrible. I’m not expecting Penang Siam Road CKT level but this is just plain kway teow fried with egg, hum and prawns. No flavour at all except for a bit of spice. The prawns were also not fresh.

Really nice Penang Char Kway Teow and Prawn Mee. Teh O cost $1.40. Overall nice place to have bf.

Super expensive coffee. One cup of Kopi O is a whopping $1.40. Hokkien mee stall has changed owner. Similar taste but not the same. Zichar is on the pricey side.
