Vibe is pretty good for a night out but defo get a reservation since it gets quite packed. Food was alright, tapas seems like a big hit or miss game especially with the 5/7 tapas set; love the potato; octopus was decent but comes with very non-yummy potato below; omelette super meh; baby calamaris quite yums as the batter was light and crisp; sausage stew leaning a little aggressively salty. Would try the prawn next time if there is one, everyone seems to be ordering that and enjoying. The paella was quite yums, feels like pretty hard to screw up this if you're a Spanish resto l. Service pretty meh, asked for bills, the lady forgot until she sees me again, while clearing the bills at the counter stood almost for 5min despite everyone seeing me (they just have more important things to do than to get my payment, example filling up a bottle of water that no one ask for). Also put in my order of paella first thing as it states that it needs 30min (took40~50min, and came out with the other table's order which was only taken at least 10-15min after mine). Staff confusion etc.. finished ordering and returned the menus and another come to ask if we have ordered? Also after finishing our tapas, waiting for our paella, staff cleared out table and asked if we need dessert? Walked in, floor staff was busy so the bartender? Came and couldn't find my reservation. Exciting night. For this price point, at least the service should've been good. But come for the vibe.
View on GoogleCame by around 630pm on a Saturday evening without a reservation, place looked pretty empty but they told us that it was fully booked and only the alfresco area outside was available. Bummed but determined we went ahead with it. Thankfully it was actually pretty cooling that evening and they did have a huge air condition unit blowing at the area. We went with 4 tapas since there was a 4 tapas for $59 promo and a paella. For 2 pax on hindsight it was too much and the promo actually didn’t save us a lot or any because there was the additional price for certain tapas. The tapas were all alright nothing I would say were exceptional especially if you’ve been to Spain and had their tapas there. The brussel sprouts for me were way too sweet although it did say honey coated. Paella was good but definitely had better, but by no default it was still a decent plate of paella. The meat was well seasoned and generous. If I had to reorder, I would probably stick to the paella and probably only order 2 tapas - the Brussels sprouts for some veggie and calamari for some fried crispies to munch on. Croquette was very skippable and there were already prawns in the paella so there wasn’t really a need for a prawn dish. Prices were still considered reasonable for Spanish food in the area so it’s worth dropping by to check this out.
View on GoogleFood was decent but the paella took more than an hour to come!!! Which felt extra jarring cause the prawn came within 20 minutes and then it was another 40 mins until the paella arrived. Which I understand but if you know it’s gonna take awhile, the least you can do is to warn customers beforehand, imo. The quality didn’t justify the wait tbh. The dessert took forever to come as well
View on GoogleDidn’t take any pictures of the food because it was so delicious. The tapas is really good, we also had the mushroom paella and it went perfect with all the seafood tapas dishes. The bread with the gambas was really good and I loved how salty and garlicky the gambas was made. One portion only has 4 prawns so make sure to order two. Other favorites include the grilled artichoke and Jamon platter. The clams were so so because we preferred the gambas. Staff are super friendly. Overall great “homely” feel restaurant
View on GoogleFinally visited this restaurant The two of us ordered a few of their dishes, and overall there wasn't really anything that disappointed us. While it's not a high-end fine dining restaurant, the atmosphere is what makes this place special. It feels perfect for Valentine's Day, Christmas celebrations, date nights, or even weekend family gatherings. Order a few tapas, have some wine, and enjoy a slow meal. We ended up sitting there for almost 3 hours without even realizing it. The restaurant was almost full even though we booked in advance, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation early.
