We tried both the Petite Beef Pho and Petite Chicken Pho with bánh mì. Both pho were good, soup base were the same I think but the chicken and beef were tender and flavourful. Although the portions are petite, they were actually just nice for us as we could try a few more things. The Smoked Duck Roll was really good and one of our favourites. We also enjoyed the Egg Coffee. The pork belly banh mi unfortunately was the only slight miss for us. The pork and bread were not as crispy as we would have liked. We were actually tempted to order the Crackling Pork on a Plate too, but decided to save that for another visit as the pork belly in the bahn mi was cold and rather hard, with the skin lacking that crisp, crackling texture we were hoping for. The staff were generally friendly and nice, although service felt a little stretched at times and one interaction could have been a little more patient. Overall, we enjoyed the food. Will try more from the menu next time.
View on GoogleFood was delicious! The tofu spring roll was incredibly fresh and had a nice crunch to it. We also had the petit chicken pho which impressed us with its tender chicken pieces and broth was incredibly tasty. Dare I say it’s literally the best pho I’ve had in Singapore! Best part is they don’t use msg. Staff was really nice and friendly. Had a nice chat with Vee who’s very approachable and friendly. Overall experience from start to end was very positive. This cafe is highly recommended, although the drawback is that it really is on the pricier side.
View on GoogleI absolutely love this place. I walk into the restaurant as a Vietnamese and I am immediately bombarded by the smell of phở broth coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere of the restaurant has this warm, classic style that makes you feel welcomed, the kitchen is also opened and viewable for all of the diners to see the meticulous cooking processes in the back which I really enjoy musing upon. I ordered the monthly special beef phở with coffee combo. The phở is amazing! Just as the owners advertised it really does not have a hint of MSG inside the broth but rather genuine umami from the slow simmered bone broth. The restaurant has a unique take on their pho as they lightly grilled the rare meat and a piece of lemon for the dish; yet the it complemented the bowl greatly, the meat is unbelievably juicy and fully cooked to perfection. The coffee that came with the combo is delicious, your atypical roasted Vietnamese arabicas from the highlands. The hint of slight sourness gave the high quality of the cup away! The owners are kind enough to give me a complementary side dish of petite pate banh mi. Absolutely hit the spot with these small but mighty flavor punch! I would definitely recommend this as an entree were you to visit this humble restaurant!
View on GoogleAfter a hearty meal at Pang Pang kitchen, found a Very nice, cooling, comfy ambients Viet cafe just across the junction. Very relax feel of home style setting with light music. Prices are reasonable for drinks especially the viet coffee. Food looks great and authentic vietnam dishes. Service staffs are gentle and thoughtful. Had a very relax break here. Great for two or a group. Will be back for more.
View on GoogleA hidden gem for anyone who appreciates great Vietnamese coffee and food! The coffee here is superb—easily one of the finest I’ve had, with rich flavour, excellent quality, and a smooth finish that keeps you coming back for more. The café has a warm and relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect place to unwind or catch up with friends over a cup of coffee. The Bánh Mì is also something special. The sourdough bread gives it a unique texture and flavour, and it’s perfectly paired with the delicious roasted pork, creating a well-balanced and satisfying bite. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic, quality Vietnamese coffee and a cosy café experience. I’ll definitely be back!
