My first time at La Fez and I must say they really make a good attempt with the decor, staff and food. I personally feel a few minor tweaks can be made to the food to score more points - salad (too dry), potato pancakes (should include couple more pieces for the price paid), pita bread should be served warm. Food tend to be on the pricey side otherwise it’s really a pleasant and unique experience to be here. Back for the second time, this time for brunch during the weekend - we had the dip and the eggs - felt that the meal didn’t really stand out, just mushy and blended from one flavour to another. I think there’s huge potential - just need to make the food taste more distinct. Maybe they just need to cut down the menu and focus on making a few work well.

I love the ambience and how cozy and quiet it is. Probably because I went on a weekday night. The service was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful in recommending orders. The food we ordered was palatable, I personally love Moroccan dishes so this could be bias, lol. In terms of spices, they are lighter than the restaurants in Arab St but nonetheless tasty. Mint tea is not served in teabags, they use real mint leaves. Hot chocolate is rich and smooth. The desserts are impressive in both presentation and taste. Portion is quite big I feel, you might want to share for two for a dish, especially if you want dessert. But if you starve yourself the whole day, you might be able to squeeze in the mains and desserts.

We dine in here for a family dinner. Cozy, pleasant & lovely ambience. Staffs were friendly. Serving was quite fast. We were lost of what to order at first & the waiter there recommended Mandi Platter which was in fact a sumptious one. The Strawberry Dome for our dessert was yummy. Fully recommended & would come back to try other menus.

I didn't find the interior Insta worth as other comment and didn't expect much on the food as we supposed to go for tea but sold out. We ordered 9 dishes for 7 adults and 2 kids. I will say a bit over order but managed to finished all. All the food above expectation. The 2 dishes that I like most are Tagine chicken with its unique spices that I never taste before. Paired nicely with apricot and almond. Fish and chips with tartar sauce looks normal but the fish is really fresh (as nowsaday those fish normally taste frozen) and not oily at all with its crispy and flavourful fried skin. Mandi rice has a special spices rice. Baked cauliflower with simple marination also stand up. 4 Dips with flat bread as starter is good. Overall very satisfied with this early dinner. Friends bought be raspberry mouse dessert for take away. Normally mousse is not to my liking. But this, rch mousse, with sour Berry gel plus moist sponge, make a good combination and I have no issue to finish all. Just a warning to those buy as a gift, beware of weather as it can melt and out of shape outside fridge.. 😅. Definitely will come again. Didn't manage to take the tagine chicken photo..

Came here for the first time on 4 May 2022 dinner. Interior is gorgeous, pinkish with a hint of resort vibes. The food didn’t disappoint. Please get their mint tea!!! Very fragrant, floral and refreshing. The pita bread and dips were decent, nothing much to rave about. Sahara roasted cauliflower was so generous, and a very unique dish worth to try. La Fez Tangines with chicken (sort of like a stew) was so hearty and tasty. Overall, worth a try. Super aesthetic place, especially great for your Muslim friends!
