Tried the Ala Carte menu, the food was really good! Highly recommend the pancake, which was crispy and tasty. The herbal chicken soup was rich in ginseng and comes with glutinous rice in it. The beef soup was great, but can skip the tough beef. Free-flow side dishes; service was polite and friendly!
View on GoogleWhen I want my Cold Noodle Nengmyeon fix, this is my place. Tanjong Pagar may have another place that is good, but JungYi is pocket friendly. Today is my first day here ever since JungYi shifted from Siglap coffeeshop. Nengmyeon is still very good, with the heart shape mustard, and love the banchan. Beef bulgogi is tasty, though quantity is a little small. Kimchi Pancake taste is just nice. Especially for the lunch special, it is reasonable for us to try the majority in the menu. The same Korean Lady Boss is very nice and friendly, even the staff served us very well. We will be back for other food. Well done JungYi👍🏼💪🏼
View on GoogleAuthentic and delicious experience in a cosy and comfortable setting. The weekday lunch specials are really popular and value for money. Can use cdc vouchers! I used my CDC vouchers the way they were meant to be used — supporting small local businesses that actually serve quality ✨ ordered like I had something to prove: pork bibimbap, ginseng chicken soup, japchae… and yes, ice cold barley tea to feel balanced no regrets. no gatekeeping. this one’s worth spending your vouchers on @doris.is.me on Instagram IG TikTok TT Lemon8
View on GoogleVery memorable Korean BBQ. Kind host grilled the meat for me, can tell it’s premium quality. The smell is enough to make me drool. Nice bibimbap makes me forget about my Caifan alr.
View on GoogleWent for dinner and the restaurant was packed, so there was a bit of a wait to be seated, but it was understandable given how busy it was. We ordered the Beef Set 2, the marinated rib fingers were a bit too sweet for my liking, but the rest of the meats were tender and nicely grilled. Service was great despite the crowd. The staff were efficient, friendly, and attentive, and they helped with the BBQ, which made the experience much more enjoyable. Overall, a nice Korean BBQ restaurant and worth a visit.
