Our go-to overnight stop in Singapore. If before midnight, catch the SMRT- a very short walk from the station. If after, about s$25 taxi fare. Grab dinner or breakfast next door. Much cheaper than staying at the airport, comfortable room with ensuite. Perfect quick stopover spot.

This was a perfectly functional stay and a good option for a short layover, particularly if you're heading to Changi Airport. It’s about an hour’s walk from Bedok Reservoir, which was one of the reasons I chose the location. The room was small but clean and perfectly adequate for one night, with a comfortable bed, bathtub, window and TV. There’s no swimming pool or other real amenities, so don’t book this expecting facilities. The hotel is directly on Changi Road, with plenty of vibrant hawker stalls and local food options nearby, including a particularly comprehensive hawker centre right next door. I also enjoyed the evening walks along the nearby Siglap Park Connector, which was a lovely bonus. Overall, a straightforward, clean and convenient budget stay - particularly useful for an airport layover.

I have a 6 AM flight, so I have to be at the airport by 4 AM at the latest. This hotel is located near the Kembangan MRT station, about 15-20 minutes to Changi Airport by taxi, and the 24-hour hotel lobby is very helpful when finding a taxi early in the morning, at a reasonable price, no cheating. The room size was spacious and comfortable. The location was also quite convenient. However, the room had a musty smell, as if it hadn’t been occupied for a long time. I ended up spraying my own perfume around the room to make it more comfortable. Other than that, the stay was generally okay.

Good affordable hotel near Changi Airport for a day room with a gap of 12 hours between flights. Clean and tidy room with firm bed and good aircon. Nice shower. Staff very friendly and happy to book a taxi for us. Thanks Hotel 81.
