​I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chat Masala, located on Upper East Coast Road in Singapore, and indulged in a delightful array of Indian dishes: Chicken Tandoori, Naan, Chicken Biryani, Egg Masala, and Gobi 65.​ The Chicken Tandoori was a standout, featuring succulent pieces of chicken marinated in a blend of spices and cooked to perfection in a traditional tandoor oven. The smoky aroma and tender texture made it a memorable dish.​ Accompanying the tandoori was freshly baked Naan, which was soft, fluffy, and ideal for scooping up the rich gravies.​ The Chicken Biryani was aromatic and flavorful, with each grain of rice infused with spices and layered with tender chicken pieces. It was served with a side of raita, providing a cooling contrast to the spiced rice.​ The Egg Masala offered a hearty and spicy curry, with boiled eggs simmered in a robust tomato-based sauce. The balance of spices was commendable, making it a satisfying vegetarian option.​ Gobi 65, a popular South Indian appetizer, featured crispy cauliflower florets tossed in a tangy and spicy sauce. The dish was both crunchy and flavorful, serving as an excellent starter.​ The ambiance at Chat Masala was warm and inviting, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to authentic Indian flavors and quality ingredients was evident in every dish.​ Overall, Chat Masala provided a satisfying and flavorful meal, making it a recommended spot for anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine in Singapore.

Very professional staff to start off. Food - extremely tasty and full of flavours. Spices were full flavoured, very clean and well prepared. Huge fan of Indian cuisine, this restaurant simply blew my mind. Very comforting food. Restaurant- Very welcoming and clean place. Staff were all very professional and friendly. Gave me a very homely vibe. Overall - YOU HAVE TO TRY IT TO BELIEVE IT.

Bit of a mixed bag. On the night we visited the restaurant was deserted and had a slightly forlorn atmosphere. The decor is very dated. On the positive side the naan bread was excellent and so was the mango lassi, made fresh, but the aloo mattar was very bad. The potatoes and the curry were fine but the peas were dry and hard and clearly the kitchen hadn't used fresh ones, and the dish was WAY too salty. Bit strange, really. Also it would be nice if the staff occasionally looked around the room to see if we needed anything - we constantly had to call the lady's attention as she was more interested in fiddling with the playlist for the sound system. Meals are expensive too, $17.40 for the small aloo mattar. Much better value at Biryani Concepts, Butter & Spice nearby.

My partner and I visited this establishment for dinner and ordered the Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, and Palak Paneer. - Chicken Biryani: The accompanying curry sauce was exceptionally well spiced, enhancing the overall flavor profile. - Garlic and Cheese Naan: Both variants were fragrant and aromatic. - Palak Paneer: Balanced in seasoning, with a pleasant taste and smooth texture. The dishes showcased careful preparation and delivered a satisfying level of quality. Additionally, I’d like to commend the staff and chefs for their excellent service. They were attentive throughout the meal, checking in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced the dining experience. Thank you :)

First visit here and my friend and i were wowwed with the food. Really good food and the wine really goes well with the food. Both staff on duty were really attentive and tried their best to run a full house shift. Will definitely come again and recommend it to other friends👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
