Visited on 29 January 2026 First time having dinner at Wawawa at Bedok Reservoir, and it was such a lovely experience. The evening scenery by the water was beautiful, and the atmosphere felt really relaxing. They even had a live band, which made the whole place feel lively yet chill. Enjoyed my dinner with a nice cold beer—a perfect way to unwind after a long day. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy the views. Will come back again!

I’ve eaten here a few times now and its very clear the main focus of the restaurant is the beautiful view of the reservoir, cool breeze and the live music. The food really is nothing special, somethings felt quite fast-food like, like the nachos, chicken popcorn and cheese fries. Quite good drinks though, I didn’t try anything alcoholic but I’ve heard from friends the bar is quite nice. Overall 3/5 but I’d give a 5/5 for anyone wanting a nice atmosphere, view and music.

This restaurant has been around for a long time but I only managed to visit it in 2024. Firstly the facade is really old, it’s alfresco no indoor air conditioned area. The decor is very dated, very 1990s. The menu is quite mixed. Some local, western food. I ordered the fish n chips since you can’t go wrong with that. The fish is nicely breaded and taste very good. Chips are nicely cooked too. But the coleslaw is very bad. Full of mayonnaise and not much taste. I also ordered a glass of white wine which is not chilled enough. The waitress tried to promote a bottle as the price is much more attractive but we don’t drink much. There have a duo live singing band on a Thursday night which was nice. There was ample parking space. Right in front of the restaurant is the reservoir. Very nice scenery so that compensate for everything else.

Staff were helpful to keep our bag of stuff while we took a walk at the reservoir. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday night. The food arrived warm, not hot. The pizza is quite big while the pasta portion is smaller than expected. The food taste average for the price. No mosquito bites while dining there. I guess we were paying for the ambience, the live singing (you can suggest songs for the singer to sing) and views of the Reservoir. It is non air con dining which is fine for dinner. The place is spacious too, with its own toilets. Can accommodate a big group dinner.

I had one of the most disappointing dining experiences here. The laksa was the oiliest I’ve ever seen, and the pizza was clearly just a frozen supermarket pizza with a couple of ham and cheese slices thrown on top to make it look “homemade.” For the fish and chips, we were given a choice of “curly fries” or “German fries” — but the so-called German fries turned out to be just regular fries. Why bother with fancy names if you don’t actually serve them? To make matters worse, a plain cup of water costs $1 and isn’t refillable. That’s unreasonable, especially when we were already spending so much on food and drinks that were low in quality. Service was poor too — even after we ordered another round of drinks, no one came by for 20 minutes. The only redeeming points were the nasi lemak, which was actually good, and the beautiful sunset view. But apart from that, everything else fell flat. Honestly, I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for a good dinner. Unless you enjoy paying premium prices for below-average frozen food, avoid WAWAWA restaurant.
