Would like to feedback very disappointed and upset at the smaller portion given today, 6 Jun 2026 for mega san salad compared to previous visit on 24 May 2026. See first photo for today vs the prior visit. HOW CAN?! $10.10 for the mega san. Should have just gone to stuff’d.

I got the Teriyaki Chicken Donburi rice bowl. Expensive yet normal food. Not saying it's not nice, but it's normal and ex. You're better off getting this standard somewhere else cheaper.

Got a DIY bowl and taste was... A little disappointing. I got udon as base, cherry tomatoes, fried enoki mushroom, ebiko, cucumbers and asparagus. I had salmon and miso sauce too. The enoki mushrooms were really nice👍 (will buy separately next time) and everything else was pretty meh, but the asparagus was the worst. The asparagus tasted like leaves, like those leaves you plucked out from any tree in Singapore. I will never order asparagus from Maki-San ever again, it tastes so raw and leafy we had to spitit out. The udon was also pretty normal, not the worst but also not the best. I will order another base next time😔 and salmon wise... If you want quality salmon, id recommend other places like Izumi (sushi restaurant around 58 market). However, if youre looking for a quick meal at $9.90, you could definitely drop by to eat the DIY bowl..? 🤷

Maki-San serves fresh and customizable sushi with generous portions and lots of unique filling options. The ingredients taste fresh, the ordering process is fun and easy, and it’s a great spot for a quick but satisfying meal. Perfect if you like making your sushi exactly how you want it.
