Tried Hong Kong Street Family Restaurant at Bedok and it was a pretty good experience overall. The food is not bad — flavourful, comforting, and served fairly quickly. The service is also warm and attentive, which is always a plus. The Coffee Ribs is supposed to be their signature but personally I find it a bit tough. The beef hor fun and sweet potato leaf though were fried nicely. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, so it’s convenient whether you prefer air-conditioning or a more casual alfresco vibe. A nice spot for a simple, fuss-free meal with family or friends. Would return again for an easy, satisfying dinner.

This has long been one of my family’s regular dining spots. The food is consistently good and the prices remain reasonable, which keeps us coming back. On this visit, we ordered all our favourites: Fish Head Curry, Prawn Paste Chicken Wings, Coffee Pork Ribs, and Fried Prawn Rolls. Every dish was as enjoyable as always — flavourful, well-prepared, and reliably satisfying. It’s a place we’ll definitely keep returning to. A tip for parking: If the outdoor parking in front is full, go to the basement parking.

First time coming here, food was decent but the hot and spicy sour soup was too salty and the workers were rude and they asked if we drank the soup but if we didn't drink it how would we know it's salty? The second time we got another soup(asked for another one) it was slightly better. After like 10-15mins after that I ordered 3 canned drinks and it was so slow to come it was not that crowded and it was just drinks in a can? Don’t need to make it the company already provides unless they’re drinks come from America. The air conditioning is also very bad it is very hot! In the end,I do not recommend this place.

Pork trotter bee hoon too wet and there was only one medium size. Tofu and prawn paste chicken ok. Service is kopitiam zhi char standard. Atmosphere ok, not much crowd on weekday evening. I have eaten before they moved over here from bedok camp corner many years ago. Last I ate here was right after they moved here. Found that standards had dropped and did not return subsequently. Now I feel that food wise they are just like any other zhi char stall at coffee shop but in an aircon environment.

Been here a few times and liked the Chinese food here. Savory and tasty. We ordered the homemade tofu (very good), french bean w dried shrimps (very good), assam fish (best) and the black pepper crab (disappointed with the size). Overall food was good, fast service but crowded for a weekend night. No service charge and the prices for most items are friendly except for the crabs if that crab served to us was 800-900g, was $90.
